You know? I dont know. I never considered it lol. If I had to guess, I would think menstrual blood might even be more powerful because it is so layered, but then it would lack the pure life energy of a tapped vein? Interesting.

We are getting into dangerous territory though. My advice - no blood. It is just not necessary and there are so many other elements you can use to do the same job. A lot of people use blood because their technique is weak or misaligned, and they are overcompensating for this with an excessive power ingredient.

Ugh... if you see yourself bleeding bright red blood, then it is artery blood. good reason to panic and stop the bleeding as fast as you can. (bleeding from bigger artery is risk of bleeding out) You want to get vein blood, or somehow mixed from capillaries in your skin. Blood in veins is dark red because of CO2. O2 in artery blood gives bright color. The difference is quite noticeable.

I really got scared when I've read some blood magic book speaking about using artery blood for magic and taking it out of the chest. Either the author was a liar or really brave/mad kind of person, doing such a thing really.

If you refer to the black blood as dark one, that blood is dead and decayed in medical terms.

Authors telling others to extract blood from the chest is definitely one way to invite some terrible accidents. Quite scary to hear about.

If directing magic at someone the more personal the item (belonging, blood, hair, nails etc) the stronger it would be, wouldn't get more personal than that.

It probably depends on many factors. Are her cycles aligned with auspicious astrological phenomena, or are they out of wack like most women's? Are her periods painful or painless? And so on. Blood from a woman with terrible habits and no astrological sync is worthless. And if her cycles are in sync with auspicious astrological phases, it usually acts as a marker of "X ritual is better to do than Y" or "I am being cleansed as a result of Z influence/action/ritual", or something of the sort. Speaking from experience.

If it is to be "offering" to anything, the menstrual blood will offer itself by pouring out of the body at a particularly auspicious time (like the new moon in Virgo). But the key is: the bleeding needs to take place by itself at the perfectly appropriate time, else it won't be good enough.

Have I ever used it in a ritual myself beyond just letting it do what it does with its oddly perfect sync? No, I do not see the point. As Morell says, from the veins is more potent/directed for such purposes but it is also much more binding and harder to break should anything go wrong. I wouldn't recommend the usage of blood for most practitioners mostly because it is quite prone to mishandling and can bring a lot of tears long-term if you fuck it up by even accidentally linking an unintended thought to it during ritual. Blood is often not needed and fully optional anyways. Don't do blood oaths, kids!

I've read your post. Good one. I disagree but it's good.

I think that menstrual blood is quite diluted and not as raw as it is rather dirty or tainted. Definitely not pure thing on multiple levels. Physically it of course gets mixed with body fluids in privates of a woman, but those are not necessary sexual. They are simply maintenance on the standart and sexual energy in them is rather residual, just coming from the fact of genitals being genitals. So it's rather weak and it only lowers power of the blood.

Blood is connected with the life, soul and will of the person. So it's not only how it works, but also the person themselves. There was excellent article here on value of energy of a person for a vampire. Worth reading. Here is a link. It makes one realize that while blood is itself a great vessel for energy, if person doesn't have much energy, supercharged blood cannot be gained from them.

For the sexual liquids, I would rather say that usual liquids in genitals are genital liquids, taking care of the organ to remain clean and healthy. Nothing much sexual really. If you want sexual fluids, then collect them when the body is aroused and truly charged with sexuality. I can definitely see that such collected fluid would have quite an energy. Combined with blood intentionally drawn from vein, freely chosen by the mage with clear intent and mixed by freshly collected sex fluid could make pretty much charged mix, though it still would be very grounding thanks to sexuality and effective on physical world rather than on the spiritual. Blood feels to be having more wide range of influence when pure rather than mixed with sex fluid. Just my opinion.

I just don't see a blood coming out like unwanted pee mixed with maintenance fluids carrying out waste from the vagina nd the womb to be anywhere that powerful. It's just animal side of the person. having connection to them, but no real charge of intent by itself.

Thank you. Though don't judge from one experience. Your post is of angle I disagree with, but I can see that you did some work and that it is based. That is simply something that speaks for itself. It is not nonsense. If it were nonsense, I would probably say something different.

Blood bonding is definitely a thing, though I have doubts that menstrual blood would be more effective than blood right from the vein, which both genders can use for the ritual.

My answer is no. In my opinion it's a waste that body ejects like a shit or piss, and it's just as dirty. It comes out completely without will of the woman that bleeds. I assume that it ruins the ability of that blood to be vesel for the will of the person using it, especially if it is the woman herself. Opening your skin to draw blood, causing the pain intentionally in order to gain it... I think it's quite different.

To this day, menstrual blood is used for love spells. These love spells fall into the category of so-called "biological love spells." I can say that magic that uses blood is very powerful, even menstrual blood.

Now about the difference between blood.

Some believe that menstrual blood can be substituted with blood from a finger or vein.

Avoid drawing blood from a vein altogether; it's dangerous. People who truly practice magic will never advise this.

Blood from the left ring finger has been considered suitable for love spells since ancient times, especially when the goal was to "force love." This belief is said to be one of the reasons why engagement rings and/or wedding rings are worn on the "ring finger." It was believed that the vein of love, the (Vena amoris), runs from the ring finger of the left hand to the heart. The Egyptians and Romans wore rings on the ring finger of the left hand. The patron of the left hand is the Moon.

Now about menstrual blood. Menstrual blood, in contrast to the love message, evokes completely different feelings in the Rabbit: sexual desire, jealousy, etc. It is often used for sexual intercourse. It has a very powerful effect. Blood is taken on the first day of the cycle. However, there are rituals in which it is taken on the second day.

You can also read about blood in magic, for example, in Asenath Mason's book "Rituals of Pleasure." Chapter 8, "Witch Moon," but frankly, there's nothing interesting there, especially practical aspects.

I'll give an example of a ritual. It's very effective and powerful. It's considered a standard among women. People simply call it "Ancient Beelzebub."

1) You need to take 9 or 13 drops of menstrual blood. Add a little red wine. Add the blood to the wine. Recite the Lord's Prayer 9 times, the reverse.

2) Three times Invocation of Powers:

Then read once.

"Ancient Beelzebub. Give me the ring - the key to open the door where the terrible beast lives, his name is Tosca. Tosca rages, suffers, throws itself at the door, breaks free from its chains, awaits its victim. I will place your ring on my finger, let melancholy be freed from its chains. I will open the doors and unleash Melancholy, a fierce beast, upon the slave (Name). Let melancholy follow him, tormenting him with thoughts of me, the slave (your name). It will eat into him, bite into him, push him into his back, direct him toward me, the slave (your name), torment his soul, force him to bow to me, break the will of the slave (Name). Horned Beelzebub, you are the chief Satan, you have been given the power to do evil. I will bow my relics to you, beg your help. Give me, the slave (your name), the heart and soul of the slave (Name) into endless slavery, so be it.

Take the ransom to a crossroads: a bottle of vodka and/or raw liver.

Then give the rabbit something to drink.

Do not repeat this procedure for at least a year. If you want something bad to happen to him, you can do it monthly.

Beelzebub is also used for finger blood. I can describe it if you're interested.

Now, some real reviews from women who have used this ritual, specifically with menstrual blood.

1. I couldn't get him to drink wine, so I dripped this "mixture" onto a sugar cube, then put it in his coffee. The result was impressive; I've tested this method many times.

2. It didn't work for me without a spell. But I didn't follow any rules, since I had no idea how it was supposed to work back then. I just knew it could work as a love spell. The relationship was crumbling, I was desperate - I tried it, but nothing worked...

3. The method used by women in the Caucasus is to put a drop of menstrual blood on a 1 cm by 1 cm cotton cloth, dry it, burn it, and add the ashes to a rabbit's coffee. They say it works well without any spells, but the side effect is wild jealousy. I want to try that too...

4.... I agree that it's best not to cast a love spell on someone you really want.

Ive used it in protection magick. That was before however I was more well versed on magick. I was 16 at the time just starting out and read that blood could make a spell more powerful so I used menstrual blood cuz it was easier then finding a way to stab myself. I used it to represent myself since it came from me containing my dna.

I havent really used it since. I can see how itd make a good offering however to fertility deities.

Ive done cleansing rituals related to menstruation. But I forgot how to do most of those since ive stopped menstruating every month. I haven't had a period in over two years cuz of hrt. I think i could use rituals surrounding it in connecting to the Divine Feminine once i go off of T which i plan on doing. But I dont really like the idea of connecting feminity to the uterus. Theres more to the Divine Feminine within a person then whats between the legs. But I can see the argument of accepting periods through ritual as a form of accepting my own body thus my own power within it. Ill have to think on that do more research
