Vampyrism - Nature or Nurture?

On one side of the coin, many folks who identify as vampires/vampyres tend to believe that they have been born as such. Their nature is innate and cannot be triggered in folks who don't have it naturally.

Others believe it can be awakened by choice or that people can be turned.

What do you think?

Everyone is born with immerse potential. So the potential for vampirism is in everyone. I do not really buy that some people are vampires from early childhood or from birth, that's just wishful thinking. There are some people with medical condition, that is the case, and some do deal with it by drinking blood. This, I assume that it is genetical issue, is something person is born with. Anything beyond that is not.

People can become vampires on their own free choice and I see quite interesting number of people looking at videos on YT seeking to become vamps... Yes, people can be turned, but it's not as easy as many hope for it to be...
