Warm Greetings from a Curious Midwesterner

[celosiawanderer]

I have always found myself drawn to witchcraft, cats, plants, insects, and the supernatural. Over the past few months I have felt especially motivated to understand where this path is taking me and where it might exist in my family history. My ancestry is very mixed: Middle Eastern, Eastern and North Western European. Most recently I’ve felt that my late grandmother (Syrian & Lebanese) has been coming through and encouraging me to plant a garden that might be useful for spell-work and medicinal purposes. I’m excited to learn more here and possibly find others with similar lineages who practice.

Welcome to the forum, and it's always nice to have some sort of family connection that can ground your practice. I also lean towards herbology and magical herbs - glad to have another garden witch on board!

Welcome, anyone who encourages you to plant a garden is worth paying attention to. It's the only practice I've kept over the years that always (always) pays off in good ways. Enjoy your stay!
