Hey!
I do lots of things too haha I'm creative and mainly do lots of "artsy" or "crafty" related stuff.
So, where do I start? Let's see, I draw, both digitally and traditionally (watercolors & acrylics). I'm currently working on my very own comic!
I also like working with ceramics or porcelain, not a pro but I've made a couple of things (even stuff for my altar!).
Lately I've been into carpentry, so I've worked on small and big projects with wood, I use manual tools mainly as I find that very relaxing/therapeutic in a way...except sanding, that's not relaxing, lol, but I still do it manually.
I also like cooking, more specifically baking stuff, I love sweets, and I try new recipes from time to time!
I like crochet and I've also gotten my mother's grandma's old sewing machine some months ago, so I've been learning how to use it.
I read too. Usually murder mysteries novels but I also have horror, fantasy and mythology books as well.
A bit boring maybe haha but I also love learning new facts about animals and history (mainly medieval era but also victorian or even pirates heh), so I watch some documentaries when I feel like it. I've always been interested in nature and animals since I was a kid and would tell my mom about cool bugs I'd found outside, although she hated them, haha
I love RPGs, adventure and fantasy in general so I also play a couple of games involving these themes!
And I guess I should also mention I'm obsessed with feathers, trinkets and plushies haha so I do collect some I find cute or interesting. Lately I've been collecting pokemon ones, since I'm a big fan! Though I'm more old school and don't know much about the latest generations honestly, so i'm slowly learning a bit more about the newest pokemons haha.
Oh and forgot to mention I love puzzles too. I've bought a couple wooden ones!
Aaand I believe that's all!
All the replies have been interesting to read!

  • Reading & research on anything that catches my interest
  • Book hoarding, though I collect based on topic/content rather than condition, monetary value or rarity. Mostly occult, ancient history, archaeology, anthropology, foreign cultures, languages, small-scale Ag, self-sufficiency, DIY, arts & crafts, field guides, folklore, folk arts & crafts, folk religions, mythology, herbalism, aromatherapy, dogs, cats, fantasy, sci-fi, folk-horror and dystopian classics.
  • Learning book repair
  • Arts & crafts. Mostly embroidery, cross-stitch, needle felting, sketching & painting.
  • Things to do with my dog. We're currently training as a cadaver search team. Going to dog shows, etc.
  • Cuddling with my cat
  • Spoiling said dog and cat.
  • Studying / practicing herbalism & aromatherapy with a focus on supportive therapies for animals
  • Traveling with my Husband and trying new things.
  • Trying novelty flavored stuff
  • Video games
  • Collecting little things that appeal to me. This can be anything from bits of bone and dead bugs to random little knick-knacks I come across.
  • Wandering around aimlessly
  • Going to thrift shops, antique stores, yard sales, estate sales, etc.
  • Being a hermit
  • Organizing things, then re-organizing things
  • While I am unable to indulge where I currently live, I love raising animals / livestock. I miss having chickens, quail, goats and rabbits like I did back in the US.
  • Daydreaming

The list is short. I don't have many interests outside of the spiritual explorations.

I love doing a research on random topics.
Reading encyclopedias, travel guides, random facts and information.

Some gaming, although not much. I like older games, strange old DOS or 2000s, a few recent ones, I played TFT teamfight tactics for a while but it got boring fast. Usually I play it a bit after they update.
Old legendary classics, strategic, Red Alert, age of empires.

Also some others that get you thinking, chess where I'm absolutely horrible.

Playing around with Ai art generators. It can be a lot of fun.

Watching streams and documentaries. Streams about places, people who travel and show something interesting.

There's an interest in art. I can't really draw anything myself. I enjoy exploring people's creations.

Game levels, while I have zero skills in drawing, something I used to do a lot was game level making, still somewhat interested in this. I built them for Red Alert, Tiberian Sun, can't remember all the games, some DOS as well. Then 3D with something called Radiant. Radiant lets you make levels for older games, the program is quite easy to use. You can create and decorate everything just as you want in all shapes and sizes. With some additional tools also the terrain can be made and integrated into the level.

Something I enjoy doing is teaching people but this connects with the spiritual practices, mainly related to noetic mantra/prayer practices. Watching them progress further. It's always nice to hear how they reach something, become more open, feel better, happier, how they find inner peace and harmony or get some practical results.(y)

Not vague shit like "being spiritual" or "being social"... be specific!

For me, my hobbies vary wildly over time, but some of my current ones are:
  • Various technophile shit, like for years now I have been pretty interested in mechanical keyboards. Building them, upgrading them etc
  • Collecting fragrances (I think I have close to 100 now)
  • Watching sci-fi TV shows
  • Cooking
Games mainly.
Magic
Warhammer
Yugioh

Though any game I get into, I usually like to play as mage of some sort.

I love researching history, especially Sumer, Mesopotamia, all the way through to Greece. Syncretized gods, timelines, currents, all of it.

I live out in the woods on 25 acres, so when I’m not working, I’m outside doing somethin, mowing fields in my tractor, dropping trees, chopping firewood (something about it is deeply cathartic for me).

I shoot a lot too—veteran here, so yeah, that tracks.

Also do a lot of mudding in my Can-Am or just tearing around in my truck off-road.

I love cooking too. Its a ritual. Its pure alchemy. I'm still alive, so I must be doing it right.

On paper I guess I’m a nerdy redneck. I’m gonna quit while I’m ahead before it gets worse. 😂

Good question. My non-occult hobby is Life. A very interesting hobby — you never know where and when it will end. ))

If I’m being serious, I used to have an interesting hobby. I enjoyed participating in political processes. I wrote election programs for parties and individual politicians. I liked the process itself and the excitement it brought. It was a very fascinating hobby.

I also assume because of the property, you do a bit of Bushcraft as well?

Not as much as I used to, I get by. The Army's SERE-C took the fun out of most of it for me.
I was lucky enough to avoid most of MARSOC-SERE as I was around for training when we had FORECON, which was a not so fun 6 weeks added to extended training ops.

I understand.

Doesnt MARSOC go to SERE-C? SERE-C is for all SOF, or at least Tier 1 and 2 bubbas. I bet 6 weeks without eating crayons was rough 🤣
