What exactly is happening with the sense of being stared at?

Same with the gaydar as well. Do lesbians have one or do they generally make it more obvious and don't need it? I know Sheldrake speaks on morphic fields but I'm wondering what you lot make of this exceedingly common thing? How in the heck can you tell that someone is looking in a really busy place and automatically zero in on them with no second guessing?

Imagine if you could use that resource freely as its obviously linked to something else that is powerful.

is it common? I'm 53 and never experienced it, although I know there have been studies done and it seems to be real. I worry about studies, though. Is that not possible some guy making it real because he wants it to be?

Good question . All sorts of people at different times can sense this . Sometimes I will stare intensely and the person will look at me , at other times .... nothing .

I am supposing, since part of consciousness is non-local , that is where we 'connect' .... but something else is going on here ; I am certain, as I have done the experiment so many times , animals can do it too . I live in a bush cabin , sometimes rats or mice get in , as soon as I listen intently to locate their position , they go quiet . I have to 'send my mind somewhere else' think about something different and not focus my directional hearing on them and then they start making noise. moving again.

many animals ( especially humans ;) ) will act different when they see you looking at them ...... but acting different when they 'hear you listening to them ' ? ? ?

Sorry , I haven't been much help in giving you an answer , have I .
