What incenses do you usually use for what rituals ?

Basically title. For me, it's apple+cinnamon and lavander all are by Satya. I like them, they're really nice but I'm only starting. Wanted to see your "incense list"

Frankincense is a good general one. Rosemary is often used in British folk magic as a 'stand-in' for any herb.
It depends, local herbs and resins for local spirits. Frankincense for the dead, sometimes rose.

If I'm working with a spirit I'll use an incense that they like or corresponds with their nature, but otherwise I mainly use frankincense + myrrh.

I've also recently gotten into using resin incense as opposed to a stick incense and that's been pretty engaging, being able to make your own incense blends is definitely nice.

It depends on what I´m doing. But i rarely use incese sticks for my rituals and mostly burn a mix of resins and herbs.
What i pretty much always have at home is frankincense, dragons blood, styrax and sandarac. And my collection of herbs and seeds that i picked myself (for example mugwort, sage, lavender, rose petals, ash seeds, henbane seeds and many more)

Depending on what I'm doing, I drink mugwort tea as well as burn it (I find wormwood too bitter)

As well as incense, I'm increasingly drawn to using colognes and waters. Much like Florida water in American folk magic, I use 4711 cologne for some cleansing work, and rose cologne or rose water for my Dead and Our Lady.

Yes same here, my favorites I get these as rocks and sticks. I remember using some opium incense sticks as well, they felt quite nice.
Most of the time I use frankincense, myrrh and sandalwood, experimenting with others every now and then.

Must agree, I have some white cedar and bergamot incense sticks that are really nice.

I love sandalwood incense sticks. Makes my house smell great. And cedar sticks repel mosquitos. But I don't personally use them for much ritually beyond that.

For ritual work I tend to prefer resins. The smoke, scent, heat and whole sensory experience can change the feel of the entire working quite a bit, and I find some materials are much better at helping me settle deeper into ritual than ordinary incense sticks.

Try myrrh sometime. Mid-ritual, on a separate burner, add a small amount of bay leaf or mugwort and see what it actually does for you. I find either can noticeably change the character of the working. It tends to pull me further and deeper into it.

I blaze through a couple of cheap sticks a day during my daily meditations. For actual workings I make my own, usually with a frankincense or Myrrh or Dragons Blood base, depending on requirements

I wonder how many folks have tried a more bio regional approach to incense?
I know the grimoire trads call for specific (and exotic/scarce) ingredients. But does anyone here use local resins, easily foraged berries, haws, herbs etc? Not just with local spirits, but local expressions of greater/non localised spirits?
