Hello,
I’m looking for the best book to conduct rituals to entice — not force — someone to fall in love with you; I’m not interested in forcing my will over others. I’m also looking for books on rituals/talisman that help with just attracting love into your life. Very broad question, and I’ve tried to keep it brief.
Thanks!

If you're looking for a spell book of sorts, it's worth bearing in mind that spells themselves don't have intrinsic power. In the hands of a powerful magician, intentionally singing a pop song calling for a lover can be an act of magic more potent than elaborate rituals involving massive time, resources and calculations.

You've mentioned attraction and enticement which both belong to a more mature and sophisticated way of thinking than trying to force things to happen. This reminded me a little of Marsilio Ficino's natural magic, where using correspondences invites the energy of particular forces. You will want correspondences associated with Venus for love (number seven, colour green, copper, etc.). Simply having such things in your presence was thought to invite these forces, especially if you interact with them mindfully. A simple formula might be to buy (or make) a seven sided, green candle that's dressed in rose oil and lit during the planetary hours associated with Venus. This can be adapted to any tradition so you won't need to forsake any religion or so on.

However, if you're comfortable with pagan gods, the simplest, most foolproof way is simply to pour a libation to Aphrodite. You can follow the instructions for that here but adapt for Aphrodite ("Aksioprepḕs kai eumenḕs Aphrodítē, áge érōta eis tēn zōḗn mou"). Call on Aphrodite Pandemos (with a libation of wine and rose petals) to attract a woman, Aphrodite Ourania (with milk and rose petals) if you're a gay man. Pour the libation in the direction of Cyprus then let go, don't obsess over it.

Like @Wintruz said: the best magic is the one you can get to work; which specifc method or spells you choose is secondary to your actual magical abilities, and if you possessed those, you wouldn't ask questions like this one here. However, I sometimes suspect that part of the explanation why experienced magicians have a higher success rate than beginners is that they pick their battles wisely, so to speak. For example, if it's a Romeo and Juliet situation where the desired person belongs to a rival clan / religion / caste, etc. and where all external odds are stacked against you, experienced magicians may conclude that their case is hopeless, cut their losses and rather work magic to rid themselves of such a futile obsession while newbies will typically bash their heads against the wall in vain and try one ritual after the other.

Wordly-wise replies by more seasoned magicians endeavouring to dissuade the OP from directing magic at a specific person and counselling to increase one's attractiveness (by both mundane and magical methods) instead always make me wonder whether they ever desired a person to the point of madness… in situations like these, anybody will be prepared to try anything and employ any means fair or foul to achieve their aim (and that's why you have all these rapey love spells in the Greek Magical Papyri, for example).

You also asked about generally attracting love into your life which is a very mature and sensible attitude. A good beginner-level book that also talks a lot of sense about love magic (as opposed to those gushing fluffy 'witchcraft' books with their hundreds of spells and empty promises of romantic/sexual omnipotence) is "The Angels of Love" by Zanna Blaise from the Gallery of Magic:

Mojo bags & jars also get frequently recommended (dozens of books in our Library) in such cases but I wouldn't know anything about those.

Is there someone spesific in mind? Then members above already gave excellent advice. I may add that since everyone is different best course of action would be to build your own ritual. You could make one by studying how authors structured their rites and reverse engineer it, tailored with what kind of conditions you would like happening.

But if you just want to have a partner in future and that could be anyone, Gallery of Magick and Neville Goddard is a very nice manifesting combo.

I don’t have anyone in particular in mind.

Other posters have already gone into the typical warnings against direct love magic and the absolutely on point advice of instead working attraction magic so I'll give you some practical advice.

All the great tomes contain multitudes of love spells. Pick one tome and master it. I prefer the Picatrix, that one has tons of love spells, but I'm good with the spells because I've worked that book so much I understand the unwritten mechanics in it.

Venus and her spirits are going to be who you are approaching for love, Mars and his spirits to ignite passion and desire. There are demons, angels, djinn, daemons, all classes of spirits in every tome that are associated with the planets so if you can get ahold of a spirit associated with those then ask them for help with whatever you're trying to work.

As for love magic directed at a single person, highly unwise, always backfires, and it's ethically suspect as hell, but we are magus and ethics are malleable in our realm. So if you must you're going to need a sympathetic connection to that person. This can be an object of theirs, a calculation of their chart, or even giving them an object that acts as a link. Martian associations to ignite their desire for you and Venus associations to make them enamored with you.

As others have warned though if you single out a person for love magic you're gonna have a bad time.
