What is the point of studying occult things ?

For me, studying the occult is a way of understanding both myself and the world a little better. It isn’t just about learning rituals or collecting knowledge.

It has taught me to be more disciplined, more observant, and more willing to question my own assumptions. Even when I don’t have answers, I enjoy the process of learning and exploring different traditions.

I think the journey itself has become just as meaningful as any particular experience.

This got me thinking to the more general question of "Why study anything?" Looking around, human beings will study anything and everything. While some things have thousands of researchers and billions in funding, other ares might have one or two people looking into it. How do people choose?

My answer is that people study something based on what strikes their curiosity and what they believe will benefit their sphere of influence. This varies a lot based on the person. There are probably other drives I'm forgetting like social pressure.

I got into this area because of curiosity. That's enough reason to study anything in my book.

Is there shpuld be a point? I meam, why should be the power of occult reflect into this world, or translate with the OP's word. Yeah, it definetely gives power in this world, too. But is it necessary? It is not.

It draws me. It increase and improve me in every way. It gives me power. It gives me knowledge. All of them.
