I started with tarot learning about its system and correspondences. Later much later I began energy work which convinced me of its reality then I took a long break but came back only recently
I also had a tarot deck that was stolen from me I accepted the loss then the very same tarot came back to me I got it back only to have it recently stolen again . I guess that deck wasnt meant for me. Now I’m back to the beginning with the raider white smith deck and keep it locked up and safe

I am energy sensitive. I've observed subtle energies operating in my body/being physically, and thus I came to the conclusion there's more to this world than just the material and thus magick can work. :)

Later on I became a bit of a psychonaut in the psychonalytical vein - a lot of magick is also concerned with that.

I started with studying paranormal powers from a scientific point of view (telepathy, clairvoyance, etc.) and eventually discovered that they are all subsets of magic.

I didn't need to 'believe' it as such; I was studying it.

When I started practicing, I was even surprised that there is something like a book on learning magic. I felt silly to myself. Then it started to work.
