Someone's asking for help!

Im just starting out, I have a bit of a short attention span, and I've noticed white magick grimoires/books/systems are always extremely intricate requiring hours upon hours of learning hebrew symbols, and special materials like special stones and such, I have little in the way of time to learn all that or the money to get the materials for this sort of thing, or rather I shouldn't go all in on these things until I get a good sense of them.

Anyone know some less resource intensive and straightforward books/systems for Practical White Magick for a beginner to get started with?

There are a lot of folk witch procedures that are short and result based, quite possible with herbs just out of your supermarket, a piece of fabric, cheap materials etc. Drawing a sigil on a bay leaf having a intention and throwing it in the fire can be enough to have results. White, black or grey? That is up to the practitioner if one wants to define and if, how one wants to define.

An additional alternative system would be pathworking. There are books that have been written using Raziel as a gateway to access other entities.

As AlfrunGrima says, a lot of folk magic offers practical boons using very common ingredients and simple procedures. Nigel Pennickโ€™s Operative Witchcraft contains a number of charming hedge recipes involving catchy quasi-christian incantations, ward ingredients like bread crusts, and a hand-washing trick to improve oneโ€™s ability to tend fires. I am also curious if anyone has further recommended reading in this vein.

On second thought, my suggestion may not be appropriate for this subforum. But in that field you will certainly find a lot of relatively simple โ€œtricksโ€ that donโ€™t take elaborate study.

Start with laws of attraction and a tarot deck. Good book for LOA is " The Magic " by Rhonda byrne. Thank you.

When you say "Practical White Magick" - what is it exactly that you hope to achieve/obtain? What's driving your interest? If it's "Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel", you can try something as simple as Father Thomas Keating's Centering Prayer. I'd echo what others are saying about chaos magick as well. Check out Alan Chapman and his thoughts on chaos magick and the Great Work.

When I was way younger and more distracted i used this one
(Link removed - please don't link to sites that sell courses, lessons, etc)
you can use it without going into whole bardon system yet it can be also a nice introductory experience.

Other things - Huna or Ha prayer or Silva method ( you can train yourself in alpha state with yt videos and books available on this forum)

In both cases you don't need elaborate knowledge or hours long sessions, the shorter yet more often is even better

And there is one more easy thing New Avatar Power system. Just skip the success stories included and gov straight to the instructions.

All those above doesn't require any instruments, resources and tools for the most of time. Just you, your body and breath, your relaxation and your imagination.

Don't jump into all of them at once, you can check and then choose one and stick for a moth or two, but have fun, experiment, try on smaller hings and bigger things, try alone innsolitude try in public park.

I was late teen when i experimented with them, it was a gas, 20 years later i am constantly using them when i need to make a fast or discreet spell!

Meditation for the short attention span, specifically concentration meditation.

The folk magick approach others have referred to would be good but it can sometimes be intricate as well. Chaos magick is infinitely adaptable. I was going to suggest saint magick or angel magick since you want practical white magick. There is also a current of Christian witchcraft which I don't know much about but there are books about it. I'd imagine it to be not significantly different from a mixture of folk magick and saint magick or angel magick. You could also try candle magick, just be careful with the candles. There is a deeper Southern US tradition of conjure that appears more Christian and thus more white magick at least from a distance.
