Why so little love for tarragon?

I'm a big fan of the Artemesias. Sage, wormwood, mugwort. All my friends. And while I rarely get a chance to use it even in cooking, I love the smell of it. I made a delicious soup yesterday with tarragon, and it occurred to me to look. Sure enough, tarragon is Artemisia dracunculus. One more member of the family.

But in looking around, it seems like a rarely mentioned herb in terms of magic work. I saw a few things online, but it just seems to be pretty ho-hum anyway. Only 4 mentions here at all, and they're just general recipes.

Curious if anyone works with it, or if it really is just the pretty but vapid member of the family.

My go to when I find a plant that doesnt really have alot of online information, try to figure it out yourself, Try communing with the spirt of the plant? Assign it vitures from where you would natrually find it occuring in nature, its growth, bloom, and harvest cycles perhaps

Interesting! I checked my Cunningham’s herb book and there’s no Tarragon. I checked my medicinal herb textbook as well, no Tarragon. I found a decent article about the medicinal properties and constituents of the plant, which is quite interesting when compared to Wormwood or Mugwort’s constituents. There’s some stuff here and there about magical properties online but I’m not finding any sources, just claims.
