I would say that this is a very powerful Earthing technique which also cleans the body and heals you from within. If you do it with the cold showers your body gets better at tampering at stress. The breathing technique in itself can be done without cold showers but for maximum effect I do recommend cold showers for it. The entire process works through the sympathetic nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system and balances them both. You can not push on one side and have the other side active so this pushes as a balancer between those two nervous systems.

Since 1/3 of the body's contaminants go out through the breath, you can imagine how powerful this technique is. Also good for clogs in the blood system as it puts the blood in the body to rush.

I've always been a fan of the WH method.

One thing to know is that the breath retention (holding your breath at the end of a round) really shouldn't be timed. Materialists run a timer, but each individual should feel and sense when it's time to start breathing again. People going for some 5+ minute world record only harm themselves trying to sooth their egos.

Cold showers are also great stuff. The easiest way to ease into them is to run the shower HOT HOT HOT for the first few minutes, then ice cold for 20 seconds. Do that for 3 days, then 30 seconds for 3 days, then a minute, then 2 minutes, and within a couple weeks you're up to half or longer of your shower as cold.
