Do you think Witch blood ties in with Vampirism? There is a fairly knew topic or debate of some carrying Witch blood like junk DNA allowing different limitations challenging the norm of such as a regular " human" some examples being:

1. Empath's being connected and perfect receptors too others and their emotions (kinetic energy).
2.
Clairvoyance, the ability to perceive information beyond the normal human senses (sixth sense).
3.
Astral Control, control over dreams and interpretation of them (astral projection).
4.
Telepathy, enhanced influence over others' emotions, thoughts, and actions (mind manipulation).

There are many more techniques and or gifts that go hand to hand with a lot of these innate abilities that we all have and can work on, but with some being more gifted in certain areas. Vampirism is all about energy manipulation and control, with that in mind wouldn't such with these innate abilities tie in too the idea of those with Witch blood or I have heard on this forum even say, " vampires that have not awakened or found their true essence " in a way of going back to their source.

With this in mind what defines a Vampire to you? Is it one that consciously drains others, or someone who wishes to achieve an immortal state through energy control? What defines a Witch to you? Is it someone that has the knowledge to cast spells on themselves or others, or an individual that wishes to control the unseen realm. In all isn't it all the same? To some they praise, to others they seek praise. Is it a blood right or something we learn from past lives or maybe ancestry connected by genetics.

I would say that "awakening" is something developed by Michelle Belanger. And reading her books I'd say her practices are quite inaccurate. One is not simply born a Vampyre. You become one. The idea you are already one and just not "awakened" is completely illogical. And as for "witch blood" vampirism has nothing to do with blood unless it comes to deity work. (Droplets as offerings, etc) Blood holds no energy value to us. You see, a Vampyre is a person who has learned to take energy from their surroundings and filter it for their own uses. Which CAN involve draining others but doesn't necessarily require it. Anybody can become a vampyre. It doesn't matter who your ancestors were or what your genetics are.
You simply have to learn the occult techniques behind it. You definitely can control the unseen realm with said energy. (Knowing it is part of it) Immortality is possible in this way. You become part of said realm when you die based on how you control it.

There is a brief book called "The occult significance of Blood" that correctly explains all. pm if you need

I should add, natural ability and psychic power inherited in blood isnt required for all energy manipulations as the 'YOUTUBERS' clearly demonstrate. Charm, can be all a V needs. Charm, mesmerism, don't depend upon having ' the shine ' for success and develped mastery. (forgive the cheesy movie reference) lol

I think that could be considered the result of a bloodline. Though lamarkism doesn't work nearly as well in for physical things, perhaps it is something that works in the unseen world. I'd wager that wells, people who are descendants of witches may be more likely to be more gifted in clairvoyance and this other things

I don't believe in magickally significant bloodlines. There is, however the potential (that I just thought about when reading this post) of witches (and sisterhoods in general) having a higher incidence of virginity, and we all know how the story goes about vampires and virgins.

I don't see any reason for there not be magical bloodlines. I just don't believe that otherkin/therian bullshit where you need to have had a batwoman great grandmother to practice magic, that's just scam. But the same way that a kid coming from a family of athletes may be good at sports, the same can happen regarding to magic in general, or some areas
