Why do different spirits require different combinations of words of power to work with them?

Because spirits are different, same as people.
You wouldn’t speak to everyone in exactly the same way and expect them to react the same...
I don’t think the words of power are really a fixed formula.
It’s more about knowing what works with that particular spirit. Maybe it’s a name, a promise, or just certain words it responds to.
You kind of have to know who you’re dealing with first.

I agree. I’d just add that words of power can also work like ritual coordinates. They place the spirit within a specific symbolic system, divine names, planets, elements, hierarchies, and so on. So it’s not always a fixed “password,” but a way of creating the right relationship and ritual context for that particular spirit.

Can you give me an example of this kind of relational evocation ? what gets them there in the first place? how do you find words that generate enough power to engage ?

The words themselves don't contain the power, the words are portals or conduits, like wires that connect up currents and circuits. For example, right now I am speaking to you, you are reading these words, but the words themselves are just triggering both of us. What's important is what they do, inside of me as I speak them, and to you as you read them. As I write them and as you are reading them, changes are occurring in my brain and in your brain which will lead to both of us having specific thoughts and actions, some of which you and I are not even in control over. The mere act of writing or reading these words evokes certain energies within us that are already present and subtle. It is like chemistry, the speaking of certain words in a certain way just activates "events" which occur due to the combination of what Agrippa and others would call "occult virtues" - forces that are unknown to us, or perhaps incomprehensible to us, but nevertheless are responsible for the "why" certain words cause certain things to happen when you speak them or someone reads them.

The principle is the same as ordinary language, you speak the words and names that "resonate" with whoever or whatever you are trying to communicate with, and it causes things to happen, or it doesn't. If I speak French to you, and you only speak English, and in French I ask you what time it is, you won't know how to answer me unless I ask in English. It's really that simple.

Words of blessing.
Words of incantation.

Words of subjugation are those that grant you power over spirits, subdue their power before you, and elevate you from being less powerful to being more powerful.

Blessed words are those through which both the sorcerer and the spirits seek blessings, serving as a reminder of the people or things—whatever they may be—that they love and revere.

As for talismanic words, they are numerically based formulations that express the essence of covenants made and spoken in the past between early masters and spirits; here, they serve as a binding formula upon the spirit and the sorcerer to perform a specific task according to a particular ritual.

It doesn't. But it helps. In the end you can contact with only the name. But often it helps to get the right word combination, even if it is only for your own mind.
