I am learning magic from Frater U D’s High Magic, and I am looking for insight into how to work with the ancient patriarchal entities such as El and Yahweh. It appears to me that these two may be simply two aspects of one God based on passages such as Ezekiel 23. Is planetary magic congruent with these deities? How can I learn this kind of magic? I am aware of the Fraternitas Saturni, but I don’t live in Germany, and I’m not aware of US based groups that work with Cronus.

My understanding is limited, but it seems that Gnosticism and Christianity is focused on the divine feminine, while claiming otherwise. It seems that Gnosticism retcons God and subordinates his status to usurp his authority

Then read what rituals were going with the Temple era Jews ; you will need gold and gems for the outfit (and little dangling pomegranate ornaments off your hem :) .. some hindquarters of ox to do a 'wave offering' and blood ... lots of blood ... oh yeah, and get the incense right , Yahweh's fav is burning kidney fat .

It appears to me that these two may be simply two aspects of one God based on passages such as Ezekiel 23.

Its a lot more complex than that ; imports from surrounds , changes and shifts in local deities , incorporation and hybrids ... but I dont think you want to get into that , although perhaps a good topic for the religious forum here .

Is planetary magic congruent with these deities?

I would say not , although Yahweh seems to reside between Saturn and Mars neg aspects . In this case , IMO, may as well work with the planets . Although one might work with 'The Gods of the Planets ' .

Not clear what you are asking now ? How to invoke / evoke ?

Christianity is not focused on the divine feminine ... it is souley lacking ( you see what I did there ? ;) )

Christianity is not focused on the divine feminine ...
LOL Church worked so hard to keep it OUT Christianity. Most Mary veneration practices were folk practices in origin and not something that was in Christian theology in first place. And even then, Mary was a kind of in between something: she was only the one who received the divine spirit to birth it, she was only for a very short period a 'keeper of the flame' and not divine herself.

(It brings me btw to the very creative idea to invoke a spirit in the womb, birth it and to see what happens if you are for a moment the keeper of the flame:unsure:)
