Would you consider a Weather station as an element of Earth Magic?

Like the title says, I'm wondering if putting a Weather station connected to my local weather station can be considered as a valid part of an altar devoted to nature around me.
Might be that this is more of a general question about place of electronic devices in occult practices and how that is perceived in modern times

It depends on your personal perceptions of the object in question. If you have instinctive negative gut reaction to the inclusion of modern technology as a spiritual tool, it probably won't work very well for you, or you would have to do a lot of personal work to unpack those negative associations to make it into something useful for you. On the other hand, if you don't have those negative reactions right out the gate, then I see no reason why you can't or shouldn't use it.

I doubt because at weather stations people aren't influencing the weather and they are not always accurate. Guys watch because they hire good looking women. If something like hurricane is coming you would know even if you don't watch weather channels.

But I do think intention crosses boundaries and meets electronic devices, I have some good synchronicity from YT videos. I get recommendations which I would need at that point in time. I posted a video Technomancy by John Kreiter in the Disney magic thread, he makes a lot of sense.

Also look up intention imprinted electronic devices (IIED) old research.

A weather transmitter on an altar sounds awesome to me. It gives it a personal touch. Everyone has a dagger or two on their altar, but a weather transmitter? That's unique, and cool.

Personally I tend to associate the weather with water element more than earth, on account of all the rain and snow, but as a nature icon, it makes sense to me regardless of the element you associate it with.
