Let me preface this by setting the background.

These days I was seeking to buy a knife when I ended up getting shown this type:
br-11134207-7r98o-lu25ocpf2k5wb2.webp

These are "unpacking knives", they're mostly used to cut open boxes or cut ropes and similar materials in order to release or open something(usually tons and tons of boxes).
Initially I didn't give them much thought even though I liked their design, but with time I started to "yearn" for them, to buy one for myself and today that yearning showed itself to me in the shape of two rituals.

I was just thinking of the knives while doing basic visualization work and suddenly got sent a burst of inspiration.

The rituals, as my intuition told me and as is the purpose of these knives, are meant to be used to "open up paths" or "release yourself of something". I may think I created them but deep down I'm sure there are variations of them already in existence since they're very simple to do.

Ritual A(open a path)

You'll need:
2 candles
1 rope(that you can tie on two points, so it can't be that short)
1 separating object(in the visualization it was this knife, but a scissor works too)

  • You'll tie the rope in two points(A and B) and the rope that to be at least a little tight so it looks like a barrier.
  • On one side you'll put one candle, and on the other you'll put the other candle(both candles have to be on the same line as if "looking at each other", the distance between them is up to you.
  • You'll light up the candle closest to you, and while doing so keep in your head what is it that you want to accomplish, and that the rope represents what is stopping you.
  • Use the object to cut the rope and then light up the other candle, and once she stays lit, blow up the first candle.
The fire represents you getting over your problems and reaching your goal.

Ritual B(release a bond or a worry)

You'll need:
A soft ground, it can be earth, sand or snow, so long you can see the marks on the ground clearly.
1 separating object(same as before)

  • With the separating object, trace a line on the ground, it doesn't have to be big but it has to be very visible to you.
  • While doing that think of what that line represents to you.
  • With the same object used to trace the line, "cut" it(erase the bit in the middle, making an empty space).
  • With your hand, "cover the line" so it becomes completely erased from your sight and your mind.
As I said, these came to me in a burst of inspiration, and for being simple they may not even be original but I feel that if it came to me it may be because someone somehwere may need something like it. Right now I'm good so it may not be for myself per se, but who knows?

ps: Maybe it is because these are the only ones I had in my house, but when visualizing the Ritual A I used green candles and a red rope(remains of past projects I did), so this ritual may be dependable on color for some meaning too or it was just because I was used to those specific objects.
