[Opinion] Yesterday's Lucid Dream

I had a short but unsettling dream. I was standing in a dark room lit by black candles, and a figure in a hood drew a strange sigil on the floor with white ash. The symbol began to glow, and I heard a voice whisper my name three times. When I looked down, the sigil had changed into an eye staring back at me. I woke up immediately.
Does anyone know if this has an occult meaning, or if any traditions associate dreams like this with spiritual contact, warnings, or initiation?

I agree that it does sound like that. Or maybe summoning something to the location or the person to the location. Hard to tell.

I would also wonder what did the eye look like it? Was it blue or green or brown in color? Was the eye about as big as the sigiI or smaller? Maybe that can give some useful information.

I too have had a dream in the past where a specific sigil was written out for me, in addition to other detailed instructions. The nature of my dream seemed to be the opposite of yours though, where it seemed I was being instructed in how to banish someone. My thread with the details is still floating somewhere on the forum, never got any feedback about it.
Can you provide a rough approximation of what the sigil looked like? I discovered quite by accident that in my own dream the sigil depicted resembled some variation of Sanskrit, which I had never read about or even really observed prior to my investigations about it.
I concur it sounds like you were either being summoned or, if the eye is any indication, being watched by someone or something. Take care who you offend or share your magic path with. There's no telling what sort of people you're really talking to.

Before I try to interpret it how was your feelings about yhe dream, we're you scared, worried or uncomfortable?
