You can visit one ancient temple/ library in its prime using a Time machine, which one are you visiting and why ?

Of course one's mind goes first to Alexandria. But If the stories are true, and 'Atla' /Atlantis was destroyed due to it's acquiring 'too much knowledge' under God/the Gods, then, I would love to go to an Atlantean temple or library in their heyday and be able to read there.
After all, our knowledge all came from there first, right? Supposedly.

A now still existing library: the Vatican to see if there are indeed secrets hidden there. And go back in time to see if there books dissapeared over all those years.

Oh I bet the Vatican has all the juicy grimoires !!!
Yep, that is one thing I have in mind. There will be interesting manuscripts from grimoires and maybe even grims no-one ever knew that they exist. (I think that this is not a personal phantasy but true)
