I think it's actually interesting topic, when I noticed it in suggestions so why not? What is your favorite tarot deck? (or the most used one)

I have quite a collection of decks, so I have multiple favorites, how I use them I keep to myself, but these are in my specials:

World of Warcraft Deck
This one has kinda shallow symbolism in cards, but is still nice done and is interesting to work with. After spending years playing WoW I can't deny finding this one pretty... familiar. Author is not deep into knowledge of cards, but was doing his job mindfully.

Tarot of Vampyres (Phantasmagoria)
Vamps, of course. Also has quite cool guidebook that has planetary and kabbalah decryptions for each card. Can be quite useful.

The Serpent Icons
It's Mayor arcana only deck, that comes with awesome book. Handy drawn (big respect!) and made for occult purposes by occultist, which really shows in this one. I admire provocative art as well as nice done book.

Arcana of Ice and Fire
This deck was made by occultist, although it has two deep downsides: one by being done with Ai and the other is quite high price. I find it interesting that Hanged man is renamed to Sacrifice. The deck is beautiful (ugly hardly exists in Ai graphic) and cannot deny that the artist creator was making it for occult practice.

Tarot of dragons (Shawn MacKenzie)
Not that special, but the art is stunning.

Right now (and i think it's going to be a classic for me soon) i'm really into the Tarot at the End of the Rainbow :

Vibrant colors, mythical/folkloric creatures, different seasons and atmospheres.... It feels like it takes you to a journey and you don't where you are going to land.

A tarot deck made with AI? And being sold for $180 no less? I don't want to sound harsh, but surely you could have used the money on something better?

I've only used the RWS and the Tarot of the Golden Serpent, but I've mostly used the RWS deck. It's hard to say which I prefer since they're both unique in completely different ways. I've considered eventually using hanafuda, but I've found almost nothing on it being used for divination. I might eventually make a different thread for it.

Heh, you're quite right. I definitely could use such money better. The price you mention surprised me so i had to see it for myself and ugh! When this deck came out it was way cheaper, at least 40% cheaper and then it felt like really high price for me. I won't start regretting it now that I have it.

I assume that I got convinced of the decks value by other people in asetianist community, though I can blame only myself for money spend. I don't regret leaving them, though I don't regret being among them either, It taught me few lessons.

I have always used the classic Rider-Waite deck. This classic masterpiece feels great for readings. I think this is also the best option for the beginners. It offers simple symbolism compared to many of the other decks.

@Sabbatius Byzantine looks interesting. The imagery looks indeed incredible.
@OberonFromTheHills Amazing vibrant colors :love:

For RW type decks I like the Universal Waite because it’s really colorful and the images are vibrant when you meditate on them and that has been beneficial for me in ritual.

My favorite decks for divination are Pip decks like the Tarot De Marseille and 1JJ Swiss because the way I read the cards those are better for lacking extra imagery for the pips and leaves them open for wider interpretations.

I have a custom 1JJ Swiss deck that is probably my absolute favorite and has High Priestess and Hierophant cards that can be swapped out for Juno and Jupiter cards.
