for those informed about varying occult practices including the law of assumption (neville goddard, seth by jane roberts) how do you compartmentalise this can these practices co exist or could you reduce all other practices to placebo given that belief is the just the precursor to everything?

I'm not familiar with the law of assumption, but I consider magical systems to be the map that you use to explore the territory. Confusion arises because people can end up thinking that the map is the territory, because no-one really understands the territory itself, only the maps.
