Hiya. I'm a Babalon devotee. I got my start with practicing the 77-day invocation of Her known as the
. I found to be a seriously transformative experience when I first completed it, and it is hard work I won't lie, but persevering I've found can bring wonderful results. I cannot recommend it enough.
Aside from that there are a lot of texts out there. Peter Grey's The Red Goddess I found to be informative when I first started, but some of his outlook on women generally is a little questionable in my opinion. Other than that, Georgia Van Raalte is a known authority in Babalon study and gnosis. She some books containing essays and poetry that are worth checking out. There is also A Rose Veiled In Black, a collection of various essays from different practitioners that is essential reading. And of course, some of the Thelemic holy texts such as Liber Cheth vel Vallum Abiegni, and sections of Vision And The Voice.
I wish you luck! Babalon is a sublime goddess to work with, and unlike many others in my experience. She feels a lot more elusive, her expressions being very unconscious in many ways, but is also a very physically embodied deity which will put you in your body. I'm more than happy to discuss more about Her and answer any questions.
