Commanding a spirit with no experience

Can someone help me to command a spirit.
Actually i know the name of the spirit, that's all.
In some sigil books, they talk about creating a sigil of the spirit and then bound it in a personnel ring.
I am trying to follow the instructions in these books but i want to know if this is sufficient.

No, I would say not .
IMO it takes a lot more than knowing a name and making a sigil and binding it in a ring ... unless that sort of thing has happened 'naturally ' to you previously .

To me the sigil and ring would come much later and be seen more as a 'mala' a way to maintain a contact already established .

I mean , of course, you can do whatever .. and people do nowadays , stuff like learning off dodgy YouTubes BUT say you want to learn how to fix your house wiring and electricity ... are you going to jump in with live wires and nut it out as you go along ... or are you going to get some safer experience and learning first .

One thing I recommend everyone consider .... are you mentally set up for this approach ? Israel Regardie , in his later practice , recommended people get a psychiatric assessment first .... not being rude , just cautionary - I seen a LOT ... both in magick and working in a psyche ward !

I can understand that doing it is critical and may lead to some unexpected results.
Actually, it is a long story that i can't write it here but the things i got ( name ,religion ) of this spirit and the reason he is present in my family house, all these came after making a rokya to my sister.
Honestly, all my family is in a big trouble because of this. another thing, the spirit told me that he is a guardian of a tresor , and nothing else.
I tried to let him give me more details, but i was not able.
this happened since August 2013, and up to day, i am facing a big trouble in my daily life. Also i am not able to get a new work.....
Really, i need help and i don't know how to proceed.

As I tell most people. Do a skrying session to meet and speak with it. Ask it what it wants. Dont do any binding or being a dick etc...

There is usually a lot more meta data to the experience if one takes the time to look at it.

I should emphasize that your not being a dick.. but the whole binding thing could be unnecessary is what I meant. Question it and if it really necessary one could use the Solomonic protocols. But usually it could be anything from an upset ancestor to really anything.

Always try to gain the higher ground. Even in Taoist magic one tries to negotiate before extreme measures.
