Does anyone here have experience with less common divination practices?

I have for sometime been interested in less commonly seen (in my experience) divination practices such as haruspicy, or ornithomancy? Does anyone here have any experience with techniques such as this they would be willing to share?

Miomancy (I don't remember the correct name), or the art of judging the future by the behaviour of mice. The context: One night, a friend and I were watching TV when, suddenly, a mouse appeared in the living room and stood there, looking at us. I'm not afraid of mice so i went closer to kick it out. As I got closer, the mouse just left and went into hiding. In that moment, I told to my friend; lets protect the windows because a storm is coming. I was right! well, the mouse were right! According to Miomancy; Mice behave erratically (Losing nervosity or timidity) during a severe change in the environment. It happened twice during different seasons. There you go! have fun with miomancy or whatever it names is. Cheers!

I'm a "seeker" same as you. I intuited the mouse behaviour just by chance. When my friend asked me how I knew a storm was coming I told him: the mouse just told us. The first time i red about Miomancy was in Saint Cyprian's book. That book is just garbage, in my opinion, but Miomancy stood with me. Sadly, I don't want more mice in my house, lol.

I don't know if you could count this as divination or communication with a spirit (or just outright hallucination), but I had an experience once where my Youtube mix started playing songs I'd never heard before, which for some reason prompted me to ask a question aloud, and the next song in the mix mysteriously had a very tangible response in one of the lyrics. I was able to keep up something like a conversation this way for an entire day. The prescient messages it gave ceased after that day though.

This occurred maybe a week or two after I really begun digging into the occult, and I wasn't attempting to perform any such communications or divinations intentionally. It was probably just my pattern-recognizing monkey brain playing tricks on me, but I do wonder if there wasn't something at play that could be interfaced with reliably this way. I don't think it's a secret to anybody that circuit boards on computers and phones haven't exactly been well explored as potential incidental sigils that may accidentally invite things in from time to time.

Hi Digiquo! I think it could be just "synchronicity". However, There is an art or mantic art, consisting in extracting information from the random words we hear when we are in silence, but i cannot remember the name. It could also be that. If i recall correctly, that art, is related to Bibliomancy; or the art of opening a bible or a book in a random page, putting your index finger inside and then, giving a speech about the past, the present or the future with respect to the word you selected blindly with your index finger. Don't you just love mantic arts? English is not my native language. Let me know if you need a clarification. Cheers!
