    osteomancy/sangoma freestyle

For those who practice osteomancy or sangoma divination: do you usually assign meanings to the bones based on the animal they came from, or do you attribute broader meanings that go beyond the animal's symbolism?

Demystifying Yiching Interpretation Line by Line- No Book Needed

If you’ve ever felt like standard iChing (Yiching) books leave something out, you're not alone. Most texts focus on static symbol meanings rather than interpreting the full, dynamic hexagram. Just as the tarot relies on intuition and the specific visual elements that jump out at you, true...

[Opinion] Which form of divination you have found the most useful

This is not so much a query per se rather than asking for an opinion. While I have tried horary astrology myself I am yet to study in depth other forms of divination like tarot. Wanted to ask the esteemed members of this group what your preferred modes of divination are and why. Do you prefer...

    Spells during an Eclipse

Hello fellow witches and wizards, on the 12. of August the Moon will block the Sun and cast its shadow across western Europe. I will receive a view of the partial eclipse during the sunset. This combination of daytime and astrological event urges me to perform a divination. Now I ask thee...

How do you guys treat your tarot cards?

Personally, I treat them as a friend and don't really interact with them in a traditional ritualistic way. I give my cards names and use them very casually, usually while listening to podcasts or music (without earbuds for bonding purposes lmao), and chat with them in a kind of casual way. I've...

    Advice on Ceromancy

Hello! I've been trying to learn a bit more about ceromancy (wax reading) as I'm using it for my divination at the end of my full moon rituals. But I struggle with interpreting the wax. Does anyone have any resources or helpful anecdotes about the process and reading of wax in water?

Book – PDF Cyprianic Cartomancy - Barthold, Erzebet

    How to start Scrying?

Hello! For those of you who are experienced with scrying: how do I start? I do enjoy meditative practices but everytime I try to stare into a candle flame for example my eyes get tired. I thought of trying with water but truth be told I'm not sure what I'm doing. Any tips?

Advice to see the future with tarot ?

Hi ! I wanted to ask to people that practice divination with tarot, how did they get their break through ? It's been years that I practice tarot daily, but I am unable to predict "perfectly", by that I mean that I am unable to truly divine a particular situation (which sucks when you try to do...

Does anyone here have experience with less common divination practices?

I have for sometime been interested in less commonly seen (in my experience) divination practices such as haruspicy, or ornithomancy? Does anyone here have any experience with techniques such as this they would be willing to share?

    Migraine & Lucid Dreaming

I've noticed over the past few months as I try to build routines for lucid dreaming that my migraines have gotten significantly less debilitating. For context, I've suffered from migraines with severe visual and auditory aura since I was child: people's faces will start to blur and fractal, or I...

For those that use more than 1 deck, how did you reach this conclusion that you needed another deck? Did you fully master the first deck? to include I-ching, gematria, numerology, qabalah, astrological and other associations? Or you just go with the vibes and truly divinate?

    Decoding entity communication

I have recently reached the point in my practice where entities have begun showing themselves to me in more overt ways. Recently when I was deep in meditation I watched a large purple light spread across my wall, it was so overt that I actually turned around and checked that my blinds were still...

    Let's discuss horary astrology

As my username might give away, I have a soft spot for divinaton. It all started more than 5 years ago, when I started deep-diving into tarot. I used to offer free readings on reddit and other platforms regularly, until I realized I was (almost) never getting any feedback, so it wasn't really...

    Tarot reading for 2026

The question i asked was. "How will this year go for me, how will 2026 go for me in the near future, my health, wealth, goals, relationship. How will this year go" This is what the cards had to say. View: https://imgur.com/gallery/7elbnX6
