Advice to see the future with tarot ?

Hi !

I wanted to ask to people that practice divination with tarot, how did they get their break through ? It's been years that I practice tarot daily, but I am unable to predict "perfectly", by that I mean that I am unable to truly divine a particular situation (which sucks when you try to do divination). I already practice everyday, I read books and try to look into other practitioner read their own tarot.

I am sometime able to divine what will happen but it is not enough.

I want to be able to read my tarot and say "yes this is gonna happen a 100%" no hesitation, no doubt, and I want to see a clear answer.

If anyone have any advice or want to share their story or experiences I would be thankful !

The nature of these things means that there is always going to be some room for ambiguity, confusion, and misunderstanding. I can't even interpret what other people say with 100% accuracy, no hesitation or doubt, so I don't expect that from my divination!

For one, you can use a deck that has timing specifically built in like the Quest Tarot. Since it's sold out, get the paperback and make your own. Many resources available online also define timing for specific cards, or you can define your own timing cards. Don't be afraid to do double readings at the same time, or to stack multiple decks. This works well with oracle decks, and you can use one of each, one oracle and one tarot. Lay out your question including your timing cards as you would define it, set the intention, and then lay the reading onto it.

No such thing as 100% accuracy in tarot. Full stop.

And if there was? The person who cracked the code is probably a millionaire or billionaire.

My own break through occurred with daily practice. Not just with one card draws, but trance work, meditation, dreams of the card-spirits, experimenting with spreads and talking to them, etc.. I found that the book "Nothing But a Pack of Cards" by S. Rune Emerson was super helpful in making me feel like my cards and I are an unstoppable magical team.

I'm not a Tarot pro, but the way I see it, the future isn't a fixed script... it's a weird wild web of wonkiness, differing probabilities, free will, your own actions, and general chaos.

So, you might well be able to divine a possible future with complete accuracy... but whether that's the one that comes to pass is another matter.

The Tarot is not a good tool for divination. I've been using them for decades and I tell you that what works for me.

I treat them like a set of Traffic Lights. Red means cease and desist! Keep still, have patience and wait until conditions are right.

Amber means prepare towards your goal. Green means take the road ahead.

Look at maybe a smaller spread - just 3 cards and see what the overall message is in terms of direction. If I have a need for direction I just draw one card and take heed of it.

If I am using them to give a friend a reading I can usually spot new life (baby) or good time for a new job. I can see when a romance is on or off the cards (no pun intended) Often there are indications regarding finances whether good or poor. The cards tune into people and often all anyone wants is illumination on the road ahead.

If you don't mind me asking then what is the point of divination if you are unable to have 100% accuracy or even 90%, do you trust what you read ? Do you do it then just for fun to see if you are gonna be right or wrong ?

Suprisingly I am pretty good with timing with my tarot, I also have many oracles. But I never used my oracles and my tarot at the same time I might try it ! What I struggle with, is some questions like "what should I do", "what will happen concerning....". The more open the question the harder the reading.

I might want a 100% accuracy with tarot because with some other type of divinations I am able to be around 94% accuracy whereas with tarot it is not as smooth.

I also do daily tarot readings in fact I do it multiple times a day, but I might look into meditation and "dreams of the card-spirits" as I do not know what It means!

Thanks I do believe the same in fact ! I also changed some of my future thanks to tarot!

I do want to be able to read tarot like I read a full sentence, if I ever find a way I will share it !!

But if I ask you something like "will I have a good day ?" and if you see a "no", will you be able to divine that for exemple that I will have a bad day because someone will stole my bag?

Might sound dumb, but I would love to be able to be that precise in my readings.

I wonder do you use your Tarot cards to include reversal of the cards? I suppose if I saw a reversed 7 Swords followed by the Tower I might think that a theft and a bad day were coming!
Have you tried other forms of divination? Maybe casting the Runes, Geomancy, I-Ching etc

Oh I do not use reversal at all (perhaps I should?), I don't use them because I feel like it confuses the message.

Yeah I use many form of divination my favorites are I-Ching and Geomancy I always get true answers from them. I also use the greek alphabet oracles.

I am also currently learning Lenormand.

I also try to train myself to use my pendulum by shuffling three face-down tarot cards and using the pendulum to identify each one. When I’m unable to tell which card is which, I feel like I can’t trust the pendulum and do not ask any question.
