There's zero chance he practices anything occult or even traditionally religious. He is a materialist through-and-through that is gifted at reading and manipulating people, and has what I've heard called "charisma trap" energy. If anything, it's more like he had natural psychic gifts he squandered on money for most of his life. How often has something he's said become a national obsession, even if ironically saying it? Covefe and the like. His natural capture of the media is part of it.

Much like the joke my spouse and I have when she manifests the things she wants, use of "witchy powers" to bend reality is just part of the landscape for him. Him rejecting that as a materialist mean that other people have seen it and harnessed it for their own benefit.

The body and what's inside it have both outlived what is needed to get over the hump and become a lasting mental fixture for millions of people. No matter your opinion, most of the world contributes mental energy to him every day. Look at us now? We're all doing it and know what it means. I agree that once he inevitably shuffles off this mortal coil, as will we all, those invoking his name will be able to pull energy for decades to come, maybe longer.

There's a big issue with "conspiracy" which is actually a milder form of paranoia, once called "paraphrenia". I always ask the question: show me one positive conspiracy. There aren't any. Paranoia always conceives of a negative scenario, such as we "didn't" land on the moon, this or that was staged. There is no case of the secretive people out there plotting something positive.
Whatever major, random event occurs, the mind tries to come to terms with it by making some schematic that introduces a plan, system, scheme. They are out to get us. As one psychologist once joked to me, if the new world order is being planned, the planners do a great job of bungling it all up.
Sure, there are global organizations that have various political agendas but social media has gone beyond healthy skepticism to paranoia .

People look at the trump worship syndrome and trump derangement syndrome, both of which are objectively observable realities, and then ascribe mystical significance to its origin. I am very wary of conspiracy because it suggests we are all somehow helpless pawns, unable to change things for the better. It got so bad that the huge protests we've seen were referred to as "staged" so the governments would have an excuse to shoot all the protesters. The idea of "them out there" as omnipotent, global supremacists for me is false and also the idea of being powerless doesn't fit my ideology at all. In fact, Trump represents a clear break from the former system and he had to fight tooth and nail to take his own alternative path. He's old and forgetful but also Trump has gotten some things right. Russia isn't the enemy mainstream politicians depicted (I used to live there and they can be pleasant, educated people). And immigration is, as Trump stresses, a huge destabilising scenario in the U.K. and Europe. Take a look at recent events in Spain with 60,000 migrants storming into the E.U. We have major problems with immigration over here, to the point some areas are unrecognisable as in any way western.
In very simple terms the mysterious "they" out there are mostly career politicians who have a very remote, delusional perception of reality, a bit like the communists in 1917 Russia (they gave away tons of gold reserves). I think Trump tends to be a bit of a bully but he's his own man at least. Elon Musk I also like.

Older people may recall the Manson family. That was a very good example of how groups of people can become paranoid. Charlie Manson persuaded his followers there would be a huge race war and they needed to give it a jump start via Helter Skelter. Charlie was an intelligent, charismatic man but highly paranoid. His followers were intelligent, creative, caring middle class females, who were deeply misled.

Two very different personalities. I like Trump though he's flawed by a degree of narcissism and lack of self control. I am convinced his war aim in Iran was his decision based on the probability Iran was very very close to gaining nuclear bombs. Worse still, they were about to get ICBMs that could teach the USA. Personally I agree it was too big a risk to sit back and do nothing.

Taking offence is way too bothersome for my delicate nature. You can't really be too secure in your knowledge, though, if you find within yourself enough fervor to flaunt its supposed superiority so blindly.

The hugely excessive focus on money and commerce is what may take America down. I noticed very much so that in America learning and knowledge is seen as a commercial.pursuit. It was Einstein who once stated the day science becomes ommercial, it will be the death of science. If "the system" governs what we choose to learn by the enticement of profit and a career, we wind up with big gaps in other areas of knowledge. Great scientists are great only when they are driven by obsessive curiosity.
It gets worse in the area of occult science. I cringe every time I see these professional psychics enter a haunted home, basically to earn a crust. It's similar to the evangelical pastors some of whom turn Jesus into a business. Why this came to be I think is a product of the economic system that forces people to find any angle to make money. These days people are especially vulnerable to conspiracy thinking and will follow media channel leaders. These people will state how we never went to the moon but lack any science background. So, there comes a point where profit can erode a society. Trump is clearly doing his best to pull his country out of decline but he's also totally dominated by profit and the market. From where I stand it does seem the entire western civilization is sinking under its conflicted social structure.
