Very interesting. The sentence in bold...is that to say that human spirits have co-mingled with the Elementals and now cohabitate with them in the Elemental realm?
I don't have solid material to go off of for that answer, not satisfactorily. However, these spirits had the clear makeup of human natives displaced, and behaved as such. Either they were, or some other spirit changed to become like that. As for mingling with the elemental world, hard to say exactly. In my model, the essential planes aren't a separate dimension, but expressions of one overall world. So while the spirits of elementals and the deceased don't physically exist, they are "here." And if powerful enough can manifest physical effects.

I ask because I know of a couple of ATR initiates who have worked with "chimeric bindings" of spirits. One of them specifically claims to have worked with a fusion of dead animal and insect spirits. I cannot confirm this as I have not experienced anything like that, but I do find the concept interesting and would love to study it further.

Hmm, I've encountered one such fusion. I class it under the Accuser title. When I tried to observe it on a level absent the physical, it had the appearance of a lightless mass of mold, rot, and dead insects seeping out of the walls and cabinets. Because of its lack of color and generally fearful manifestation, I attribute the hungering status to it. Not an "evil" force, necessarily. Seems like it was formed of natural powers that clear out dead things and debris, to make room for the living.

A Deeper Catalogue of Each Spirit Type - Air Elementals (Minor and Major)

I'm not going to write further on Fire spirits given my current information. As I said before, I don't tend to encounter them much because they appear to avoid me. What I do have quite a bit of experience with is minor Air Elementals. They seem to be more or less the same on a basic, essential level. What alters them is interaction with outside forces. Air Elementals in a dense, rainy area tend to be depressive, but I have seen a few I'd dub "Weather-related" that differ from this. Perhaps Air Elementals with a twinge of Water, if I had to guess. Such weather-aligned beings frolic in the rain and the depression cells, rejoicing in them. Air Elementals tend to steer clear of open fires, if they have the wisdom to avoid them, but I've known many playful and naïve ones to take to the flame like a moth. Often with unfortunate, or unexpected, results. Those that aren't seemingly destroyed undergo a sort of metamorphosis. The fire takes off the veils they wore, allowing them to expand into a grander cosmic landscape. I have little experience with what happens beyond that point. I have also known a human with a "weather-aligned" spirit, who combined the body's need for warmth with their soul's moth-like craving for it.

Air Elementals tend to do best in high places, like the tops of trees or high up in towers, dancing among paragliders and ski lifts. Those who stay close to such places for long enough become wild, the boost to their spiritual being serving as an "untaming." While the more soft and docile Elementals only see such wild energy in small amounts, for small portions of time, these raucous spirits fling themselves into it and make no attempt to "go back to normal."

I find that some elementals fear the high winds and static charge of storms, but it is also common for the wilder, stronger spirits to seek the challenge. I know little of the relationship between the greater storm spirits and those who seek them out, but I'd love to know. Such environments are a challenge for me to investigate personally. Twice I have seen evidence of such a greater, storm-affiliated spirit. I know not what I'm at liberty to say, but I think a few details are safe. The first was during a long drive, leaving an area oppressed by dense, malignant spirit energy. I turned my senses to the dark sky, and beheld something almost too massive for my mind to understand. It was an energy of outreach, of communion between elements, rather than being defined by just one. I've sensed a much smaller sample of this "blueness" when a friend returned from a very soul-restoring retreat. But this one was titanic, wing-like, spanning from one horizon to the other. I felt it far more vividly than I saw it, as its power seemed to bear down on every rock, tree, and blade of grass. My own delicate balance being no exception. I know not of this spirit's true identification, though I have my private guesses, and I'd love to hear what the people of this good forum think it was.

The second time I encountered that power, my friend had just purchased a dreamcatcher from a native person, and wanted me to investigate its nature. I gladly accepted, because I wanted to see what kind of workings had been done on it to serve this purpose. Surprisingly, or perhaps not, most of the gossamer structure had no palpable energy, not even a trace. But dead-center, like a spider in her web, was a very tiny sample of an immensely powerful spirit. It reminded me very much of the one I'd seen flying through the sky, but this one (I suspected) was juvenile, a tiny piece of a larger whole, or some kind of servant sent to do this work. I politely informed the spirit I had no need to look further, as I was only there to make sure the device was built correctly, with the right intent. The spirit answered that it was, I had nothing to fear, and I need only leave it to the work.

In terms of (other) Major spirit/spirits of Air, I have met one twice. I put it that exact way, because I'm not sure if I've met two, or if it was the same person two times. The one I first met had the mischievous energy of a child, a light and feminine spirit not afraid to play with leaves and dirt and sticks. She was my contemporary in the days long past. The second time, the spirit I met was in the form of an adult human, and while that same impish energy was there in abundance, the human aspect made me wonder if it was she.

Hmm....very interesting. I wonder how often one can encounter these entities at random. Though I'm of the mind (if I even can be with the little knowledge in this area of spirit work that I possess) that these types of fusions must be done by the occultist themselves. If it does happen naturally.....I don't even know.

A Deeper Catalogue of Each Spirit Type - Young Spirits vs. "The Land of the Young" (Part 1)

When you meet a human who reincarnated from a Young Spirit, and has experienced past life regression, they will talk about recent events. The World Wars. The Industrial Age. Sipping tea with English lords. Washing in a basin in rural France. Jousting as knights. The farthest back I've heard such people talk about would land somewhere between "Biblical" Babylon and the Roman Empire, and the things they say seem to be colored by an Anglicized, often Christianized recollection of such history. I've heard someone talk about past life memories as a Saint who was just the Christian name for a Celtic god. I've heard someone talk about how their life in Egypt consisted of escaping from slavery building the Pyramids, even though historically we know the Pyramids were built by contract workers, not Semitic slaves. This is not to say all Young Spirits remember their past lives wrong, but rather that their experiences are often colored by what they've been told to believe. This is something everyone experiencing regression tends to need help with, including me 10-ish years ago when I started.

I don't have a lot of concrete material to go off of, when it comes to describing the genesis process of Young Spirits. For a long time, it was my impression that all souls were timeless immortals, that they have existed since the nebulous age of my earliest memories, or further. I have since changed my perspective on that. "Souls," in the sense of Vital Essence constructs with some degree of autonomy, are temporary things birthed from memories of the past. "Karma," in a sense, but not in the way some might be thinking. I'm not talking about right vs. wrong morality, but about how the consequences of one's actions, feelings, and even thoughts shape the formation of the future. Who we are right now has a lot to do with those who came before us, and not all effects are delivered by proxy of our current teachers, parents, and so forth. There is a "past you," in the sense that someone lived before you, and even after they were "gone," the causal waves of their physical, sensual, mental, and vital activity carry on to affect other living beings, other environments. That "past you" is connected to the "present you," in the sense that your existence sprung from (among other influences) the cast-off effects of those ripples, and you feel them more strongly and intimately than people who are "not you." This is all somewhat subjective, since we are all of us One in the grand spiritual whole, a single Vital essence whose branching experiences are unified by common ground.

How does a Young Spirit start existing? Well, the essences that combined to create them have always existed in some form. I adhere to the model that Newton set down, albeit on a higher scale. Nonphysical essences, like Matter, can neither be created nor destroyed. Cultivation and banishment are fairly distinct from this, as remote forms of Alteration. While Sensual, Mental, and Vital essences cannot be "Made To Exist Where There Were None/From Nothing," the existing ones can be conjured from remote places, times, and even multiversal possibility. In this way, I can appear to "create" Vital essence, by cultivating it from the residue found in my own being, the water, the wind, and the cast-offs of beings who have passed by, or passed on. I can cause what does not appear to be Vital essence, to change so that it appears that way, though it has been the whole time. Think of it like water. A light limning of vapor on a leaf or pot lid is not going to sate your thirst, nor will it save you from heat exhaustion. The calories needed to undergo consuming it will, by burning them, deplete your water reserves even more. Thus, to benefit from drinking water, you must consume enough, often and regularly, that the benefit outweighs the caloric cost, external heat, and other factors. There are also nutritional concerns to take into account, but I belabor the metaphor here. You cannot benefit from an amount of Vital essence so sparse and minimal as that; it must be cultivated into a richer and more powerful sample.

By that same path, a Young Spirit can come to exist where there "was none," by the confluence of the right essences in the right volume and quality. Generally, you need a basis, and there are few better than the Physical essence. Very safe, very stable, but that safety must be depleted to ensure proper spiritual growth (at the right time, of course).

A Deeper Catalogue of Each Spirit Type - Young Spirits vs. "The Land of the Young" (Part 2)

When enough Sensual essence takes root in one instance, one "place" to use the material word, it will compound on itself. As the primary nature of the essence is to cause growth, that small sample will magnify itself into a more complex and dense entity. Take for example, the notion of a friend. Say you are a small child, and you observe that other children your age have friends. Even adults can be observed to have friends. You read about friendships in books, see cartoons about friend groups, listen to songs about being friends. But unfortunately, you personally do not know anyone who shares interests and is nice to you, to enough of a degree you could call them friend. Being lonely, you put the thought out into the universe that it would be nice to have a friend, and that you are sad because you do not have one. What we're actually dealing with in this example is both Sensual and Mental essences, but focus on the former.

All your observations and longings gather together, since you live some degree of routine and have similar thoughts with some regularity. The more you spend time alone, and the more you observe your comparative lack of friends, the more material that essence has to grow on. A particularly witchy child might, in their own novice (even unconscious) way, use this substrate to manifest a physical, human friend. But what we also see with some regularity is the formation of an Imaginary Friend. Believed to be "unreal" by adults, bullies, and other forms of skeptic, what we are spiritually looking at here is the nascent stage of a Conscious Being. I welcome you to think of this nascent stage as more Egg-like, rather than being a creature at all. Until an egg is fertilized and has time to develop in a conducive environment, it does not become a living being. Same case here, with fertilization and the other ingredients being replaced by exposure to other forms of Sensual essence, or other types of essence entirely. Inject some Physical essence, and you might well destroy the Egg, but if you don't...well, the surviving thing will have some strong rooting in an essence that helps protect it from outside influence. Inject some Mental essence, and the process really kicks off. It is with the steering influence of Thought that this Conscious Being transforms into something complex, something articulate. To use a business analogy, you're giving it "legs." It stops being merely a collection of observations and musings upon friendship and loneliness, and becomes a complex analysis, a practical knowledge, a worldview. Or at least a piece of a worldview. As Mental essence stirs the Conscious, and Conscious essence depletes and disperses Mental essence to fill out a wider observation, the cultivation of Vitality begins. Literally, this hatchling becomes alive (though not in a biological sense).

With the right combination of Sensual, Mental, and Vital essences, this entity starts to produce its own. It uses the Sensual essence to see, the Mental essence to think, and the Vital essence to command both processes. In doing so, it is able to generate itself, "feed" itself, rather than requiring the lonely child to substantiate it. In time, you reach the stage where the Imaginary Friend talks to the child, introduces ideas the child may not have heard anywhere else, or from a perspective not the child's own. Maybe, since it starts to draw from the parents' experience, or that of other children, the Imaginary Friend takes some likeness from them, too. This is where the horror stories and creepypasta tend to come in, because the child talks about some very complex personality traits and specific actions attributed to the Imaginary Friend. Assuming a lack of red herrings (in which the child might just be projecting their own subconscious thoughts and actions on a scapegoat), what you're left with is a homemade spiritual entity. One that could, if attacked, be taken over by a larger and more powerful being. That is why I find it important for a parent to monitor and encourage the Imaginary Friend, where it is deemed helpful to the child. This and more advanced spiritual guidance can shape the IF into a better spirit guardian, something that might gain strength from the parents, the ancestors, or the family deities, without being taken over. I've had the pleasure of watching the child of a close friend grow up, assisted by a very specific spirit guardian. Not an IF, in this case, but one to which these same notions apply. He receives strong support from the mother's faith and from her deity, and in just a few years of existence has garnered more spiritual power than myself.

A Deeper Catalogue of Each Spirit Type - Young Spirits vs. "The Land of the Young" (Part 3)

When I first brought up Young Spirits, I made a point of differentiating them from "the Young Folk," one of many terms for allegedly immortal, ageless, or just very youthful elder spirits, commonly associated with the Faerie. These are not Young Spirits by my nomenclature, at all, but are instead called this because they seem exempt from the ravages of mortality, of human age. There are folk tales of a person becoming lost in their lands, and returning what feels like a short time later, to find that many years have passed. I cannot attest to any of these stories personally, but I have met an incarnation of one such being. I will tell a bit of her story here, to show you what it is like.

To begin, she strongly urges me against using the word "reincarnation." She has always had a strong feeling that she did not die, that this life and her older, more mystical one are the same continuous life. When I questioned her about the moment of her human birth, she explained that though the memory is foggy and scrambled because of her infant brain, her soul remembers that she chose this existence. She fell in love with the latest of her mortal flings (her words, not mine), and when she realized how serious these feelings were, she sought out the means to give up the form she was in, and take on a human body. Not by possession, but by transforming her mystical being so that all that remained was the beginning steps of a developing fetus in a human mother. The method, sadly, is lost. I've helped her try to remember, but since I don't know this method and possibly never have in my past lives, I can't do much to guide her. Regardless, she is a powerful Air presence along with being from these "Young Folk," and the part of her mind that best remembers that life now takes a different form in her head: a little girl. For much of her human life, she had imprisoned this little girl in a dark cell of her unconscious, repressing any knowledge of the past. But with my help, she was able to open the cage and make slow, unsteady amends with her past, awakening her true powers to a degree and bringing forth a lot of memory.

That being choosing to manifest first as an unborn, then psychically as a little girl, hammers home the explanation of the term "Young." This type of spirit is ever-youthful, even after centuries or millennia of life. The more the mortality of a vessel such as my friend's begins to show, the more divorced from such an eternally youthful existence they feel. This is the great foible of choosing a human life, a mortal life. Eventually, she will die, and I imagine that will be a great displeasure to her. But I will go into the Tricksters more in their own section, not in this series of posts.

A Deeper Catalogue of each Spirit Type - Old Souls

Old Souls can generally be recognized in the corporeal by the abundance of essence early in the child's life. A potent physical essence suggests they were a person of some money, a soldier, or a profession similarly rooted in material. This can manifest as skepticism, bullying behavior, a heightened sense of smell, as well as a disposition toward fitness and athleticism.

A potent sensual essence typically manifests as a heightened appeal for art or study, less for intellectual advancement and more out of wonder. This may suggest a very long previous life, or a life of travel, or a role as some kind of teacher.

A potent psychic essence typically manifests as adhd-like or highly cerebral behavior, a rich thought life, strong empathy, or other forms of action having more to do with the mind. The previous life likely spent a great amount of effort on study or enlightenment, but turned a lot of focus inward.

A potent vital essence will not only be healthy physically, but sound of mind, and likely possess the heart of a healer. The previous life was either one of great vital cultivation and spiritual practice...or was cut short.

Old Souls in the incorporeal are what you might often think of as ghosts. They hang on to attachments of the sensual and psychic, which manifest through their lingering attachments to the physical. If you ever get a very strong sense that an unfamiliar place used to be home, it may be that you're close to memory of a past life. Or it may be that an Old Soul is bleeding their experience into your memory.

This is interesting to think about when it comes to observing kids. I was a bit of an odd child, myself. Was constantly running around and getting into trouble, overly active imagination and didn't know necessarily how to interact with peers correctly.

A Deeper Catalogue of Each Spirit Type - Tricksters

I'm not sure where exactly to begin with these. Aside from what I've already said, that is. Don't simplify them in your head to just "Fae." There's so much more than that, and a lot of the Fae you're probably thinking of are their lesser cousins (at best). The elder, proper generation of Tricksters were in a whole different ball park, metaphorically speaking. While many cultures seem to regard them as purely nature spirits, emerging from the ground or the trees or the rivers, I think the portrayal of them as Asura or Aesir makes more sense: beings whose parentage ultimately began with a race of "divine" beings predating even them. In their golden age, they were as material, as physical, as anyone else would be. Best memory serves, that was a time where physical and temporal concepts were hazy, defined more by immaterial essences like sensation and thought. To go earlier than that would be to illustrate a disconnect between the evidential, physical origin of the world, and the basis of the world in other essences. Much like there is little scientific discussion of "What came before the Big Bang?" in the sense of "What came before measurable time?", much of what happened in the early ages of the spiritual world does not subscribe to a single, linear, directional course of events. As we would probably understand time.

What were Tricksters, really? I know more the magic of it than the science, because there were few proper masters of science predating human civilizations. And they did not share power, to borrow a phrase. I see a lot of comparison in my limited understanding of quantum physics, how particles can exist in both A and B state without contradiction. The Tricksters lived in a state of physical uncertainty, which could be 'confirmed' and 'unconfirmed' again. They did not shapeshift in the sense of rearranging or transmuting a physical organ. They just ceased to be in their previous state, and reasserted themselves as something else. Beyond that, I don't know what more to say about the process.

They were of such grandeur that they, or at least the ones who I called family in a previous life, viewed early humans as tiny animals. Simple, weak, and fleeting. This was not a purely conceited statement, since the Tricksters in that form were a potent force that long endured beyond what humans of the time could manage. They only changed when they felt the compulsion, since nothing could force them to do something against their will. Compared to that, even intelligent primates were nothing impressive. Pliable, easy to coerce. This became even more so when humans began worshipping them as "gods." Any honest member of this people would, when speaking to a peer, make clear that they were no such thing. But Tricksters, like many powers of the ancient world, enjoyed the adoration and sacrifice. So it was easy to let the humans believe, and call them, whatever the humans wanted.

There came a time when this pride and invulnerability ended. Weakened after countless conflicts with predatory beings, like Accusers and the older generations of spirits, the Tricksters were eventually laid low. They allowed humans to expand too far in their religious complex, creating entire spheres of power on a level few Tricksters bothered to understand. See, many of them were vicious warriors when driven to anger, and spent the rest of their time gluttonous and slothful. Those among them who valued law, academics, and healing were rare, and under-valued by most of their kind. There were examples, like one King in particular, who treasured only the most prestigious of healers. But typically, even such people were neglected most of the time, and had to fight to make their gifts appreciated. When humans uncovered witchcraft, and the ignorant populace unwittingly helped spread a net of probability and intent, most Tricksters were totally caught off guard. The few who could have helped were either exiled or willing to let their people fall. So the complex of religion and magical intent trapped the Tricksters, in a state where they could be controlled and subdued. They either submitted to what was desired of humanity's "gods," or were made weak enough even a human could overpower them.

This is not to say all Tricksters are gone. The ones that still have physical bodies are trapped in a more limited form, like that of a human or a common beast. All the others are true Spirits now, existing only in an immaterial form with constraints on how much physical influence they can possess.

A Deeper Catalogue of each Spirit Type - Hard Lights, Angels, Amesha Spentas, and so forth

I have had little dealing with them. My kind and theirs do not get along. These spirits will not truck with worship or having their names misused. They are able to cause physical harm, and perhaps to heal. They are not bound to common essences. Their root is not in the physical, but in a flame that burns all. Their senses are not in the conscious, but piercing gaze through and beyond all planes. Their thoughts are not of needs and wants, of love and hate. No. Their minds are wholly consumed with passionate destruction of the enemy.

Beyond that, I know little for sure. But I have guesses. If they are related to the Semitic concept of angels, the type with literal personal enemies could be called the Michael archetype. Warriors. From this, I can extrapolate what some other types might be like.

Mainyu - Creator archetype.
Manah - Mind state archetype. Governs the thought life of people.
Asha - Knowledge archetype. Teachers and influencers.
Kshatra - Lordship archetype. Conquerors and rulers.

After reading this thread i now understand that i have met many of them and that i along the road picked up some traits.

Actually people who give off nothing, i find stranger then all the beings you have mentioned.

For most of my life i have been busy with understanding humans. first i used the world as source and learned that some facial traits show the soul's way of being. Then i learned that this also works with voices. After that i learned about feelings and emotions and damn those are complicated. After all of this i got locked into my body and had to understand myself and boy oh boy am i scarry. And now im almost 50 and i am finally learning shielding.

Overall i think that of all the beings mentioned in this topic, humans are the most complex and most weird beings i have ever encountered.

What we think of as humans are indeed complex. But a lot of that stems from them being far more involved spiritually than it is common to think.

Imagine if every creature on this planet could flawlessly disguise itself as a mouse. Mice would surely seem very complicated, at that point!

By that same analogy, we only thing that humans are as related (and simple) as they look. Physically, of course, they are indeed similar. But spiritually there's a lot more going on. Young spirits, Old Souls, reincarnated ancients, the whole run.

Humans are scary because they either resist most attempts to spiritually harm them, or do not seem to notice the attempts at all. The physical body is a powerful tool.

Even beings normally thought of as "gods" must expend great magic to appear physical for a limited time.

A Deeper Catalogue of each Spirit Type - Accusers

Another type of spirit I have had less experience with in my current, human life. When I've seen them, they cower in the quiet, dark places until they sense someone is vulnerable. They typically look for solitude, fear, anger, or sadness/depression. Solitude tells them that a being is not being supported by any allies (which you can use to surprise them if you have friends monitoring you from afar, present in spirit but not in physical person). Fear sends off signals that the body is weak, or feels weak/unprepared, and is thus a suitable target. When we feel in danger, our body interprets that as a risk to itself, because we struggle to understand a direct threat to our consciousness. Anger only communicates (potentially) increased physical strength, and decreased focus. What this actually does on a spiritual level is expose your raw emotions, which these Accusers prey upon. Your decreased focus (like with feeling sleepy or drunk) makes it difficult for you to fight back against them. Sadness is similar to fear and depression, but gives them no real advantage. Depression, on the other hand, is true spiritual vulnerability. You don't feel, but you crave it, you seek to feel anything at all. This gives the Accusers an "in."

Many descriptions of "demons," kakodaimon, lilim, and so on are cultural symbols for something less understood. Many Biblical accounts depict sicknesses like epilepsy, schizophrenia, or various psychoses or dissociative disorders, not an actual demon. Most Sumerian and Egyptian accounts describe microorganisms, something the cultures of the time could not understand as anything but spiritual. These are not Accusers, nor are they spirits of any kind, though I find that altered or diseased mental states can leave one more open to the spiritual world, albeit in a flawed way.

To better explain the Accusers to you, in detail, I have called upon the ancient memories of my past lives. Be warned: when I deliver information of these things, it tends to draw their attention to the recipient. Read with caution, and make use of the strongest warding, binding, and otherwise protective arts at your disposal. If you lack such preparation or a friend who can provide such, either skip this post or ask a more experienced member of the forum for aid before reading. What follows has been put in Spoilers for everyone's benefit.

In the time before the Milesian occupation, the Rising and Falling Twins knew little of the Great Shadows -- that which has been referred to in this post as "Accusers." They are not, were not, darkness as you may understand the concept. Such physical and even emotional darkness is simply an absence, a descriptor of a place where the strongest available light sources are occluded, and so the material locus cannot be seen with great clarity. We of the Isles had dealings with Bean Sidhe and Leanan, and the Barghest, things which you may refer to as the Unseelie Court. But these were only distant cousins to what ruled much of the world's landmass, and ALL of the abyssal deep. The best correspondence is to Russia, Mongolia, the Arabian Peninsula, and parts of Indonesia and South America. These places were entirely overtaken by the all-consuming hate. Physicality became vague, then null. Sensation went dead. Thoughts were lost, emotions cold. Nothing lived in the places where this "darkness" remained. I would more compare it to a total cascade of all essence, all reality, back into an acausal pre-state. Those places stopped existing, except in the Record. From which they were likely restored in some capacity after my (at the time) demise. The remote descendants of those shadows are not fallen "angels." They bear no relation to anything of the higher planes, nor any resemblance. They are nothing like the beings who are worshipped, or who are considered worthy with any amount of justification. The reason I have not spent much time saying what they "are," or what the distinctions between types are, is because there is very little about them. They are void, they are more than the absence of light. Rather, the absence of physicality, of sensation, of thought, of life. But their hunger serves a purpose similar to "gravity" -- it draws in essence and in so doing allows them to influence the world on multiple levels. Those of my time were able to consume continents.

In my experience elementals are the innate intelligences of the various elements - earth, water, fire, air, ether/wood/life

Thus every human has elementals inherent in its bodies (physical, emotional, mental, buddhic, atmic etc)

Most humans have various nature spirits that (aspire to) manage those elementals. Typically the arrangement is that each chakra has at least one managing entity - usually nature spirits, but possibly a higher deva.

Brain damage/toxicity (common in autism and dementia) can often result in some nature spirits giving up - so that the related human functionality is then primitive.

Out in nature, I mostly find nature spirits rather than elementals coming to look at me. Occasionally a landscape deva (or greater) may show some interest.

My own methodology for dealing with incoming entities is:

  • measure the frequency (plane and subplane) on which they are functioning
  • measure their light-dark balance
  • compare them with known kingdoms
  • assess point of origin: local, planetary, etc
  • assess their agenda
  • seek advice from known sponsors if necessary
  • decide whether to cooperate with them.

Sometimes an entity arrives from a trusted source to provide some skill/awareness/function to my energy system. After a trial I often let such entities stay.

Every couple of weeks I turn out all those supernumerary entities and assess them against my latest standards. Usually half get bumped.
