I was a very evil person in some of my past lives. Satanic for sure... atheistic in most of them, enmeshed in cruel materialism and violence and inevitably miserable. I am pretty happy now, so there is always redemption... but the microcosm and the macrocosm dictates that you be the one to permit yourself into your happiness, since various occult doctrines reference the Gnosis (divine knowledge + God being love = Happiness from within).

This question 8s for those who travel the spirit realms, astral plane etc

what do people do over there? 8s it just singing n floating, do they have sex? Maybe live in personal heavens or hell’s?
this question is for those who travel spirit realms
I don't, but I'm pretty sure I have a good understanding of this topic.

As far as I understand, during life human can charge their soul with emotions (no matter the spectre), the stronger the better. After death all the energy one saved and soul itself is slowly consumed by the Source (a.k.a. God) to become the foundation for other souls. As a result, the soul dissipates into nothing. An exception is when soul is fed emotions externally from other people (ancestor worship), which can prolong its existence. In this state between life and true death the deceased human is hardly different from your average spirit, and can still indirectly act on material plane and torment other people or contact its relatives. However, I'm pretty sure that acting on material plane greatly increases the speed of entropy.

From what I have been reading... a lot can happen (in relation with the level of consciousness). Death is simply the dissolution of the ego at its pinnacles. I would say that I believe in reincarnation until one actualizes themselves by removing their material restraints / mysticism (many occultists discuss a Unity between man and God, and one could interpret this as obtaining the Gnosis). I also do believe in other kinds of spirits- many of them beings of a different consciousness- but I also notice that Heaven and Hell could be a sort of "state at death" since those evil spirits who haunt places occupy the "lower astral plane" according to some testimonies and have all died rather tragically.
There have been some testimonies on quantum immortality/respawning but I think this is a "level of consciousness" circumstance.
Hell is basically a purging experience, yoyre forced to face your mistakes.

but there is a phenomena of what you’re talking about, certain spirits flee judgment or the light and are earth bound, they sometimes possess humans. They’re called naked souls, in judaism this is called Kaf Hakela, where the spirit flees judgment.

supposedly it’s a horrible experience as the “Lords of Karma” or “heavenly Court” met out some nasty punishments but again these are shaped by ones psychology.

I distinguish between the higher mental energy used as a soul body from the intelligence that has agreed to use that body. Thus the soul body is recycled into the next incarnation to preserve the learnings

By some accounts there are at least 5 different souls in the standard human

If you are full of negative energy then the purgative fires of hell seem to burn you till there’s nothing, in Kabbalah they refer to this as someone who has no share in the world to come Or being burned to ashes.

you cease to exist.

I’m ta
That rather depends upon which level of "you" is being considered.
im talking about people who are very much evil like a hitler, they are thought to be burned to nothing...the fires are symbolic of course.

Evil seems rather a human concept. Other perspectives may be useful

Interesting perspective

I don’t agree but I’ve heard that if you don’t believe in the other world then you don’t go there, I guess you stay asleep.

if you don’t believe in the other world then you don’t go there,

That is easy to test by examining the near-death experiences of atheists

This question 8s for those who travel the spirit realms, astral plane etc

I think the most important thing is reminding yourself about "who" you are. Personally I think, that we are all souls - and not the physical body nor the ego -, which are experiencing different level of existence and what they are providing, on different dimensions / realms.

The soul itself is learning, experiencing which will always remain in itself in different ways, making it more powerful, wise. To experience, the soul have to incarnate and reach different dimensions and live in the way it can manifest there; such as we do right now on the material plane. This is a kind of dimension, and there are many other! Every dimension have it's "rules" and circumstances, what they can offer. How can we experience the physical realm? With physical senses, like scents, tastes, touches etc. The soul, as a manifested being on Earth will get everything which needed to experience the current realm. Same true with other dimensions!

This question is hard to explain, because to give a proper answer - and we can just guess or trying to use our knowledge we have, even if we are not sure if they are true or not, so it is up on our beliefs - , we should know which dimension we actually talking about. You can have different type of energy exchange on Astral realm (like in a form of having Astral Sex), but this is something what you can do without actually waiting for your physical body to become unusable.

The soul itself is already complete, and it won't die. Actually, souls itself are omnipotent by their own, but the chosen dimensions will make the manifestation into a different "existence", where it have to play based on different rules.

Great post...I’ve heard our physical experiences are experienced differently in the higher dimensions but even more intense, like love and sex, fear, etc

Yes, this is definitely true. These "feelings" are much more intense, stronger. So much that technically our physical body must have to block these in some way for your own health, safety, sanity when your soul experiencing similar things in higher dimensions.

I think this is why it is easy to fall for astral sex, for example, since during that act, your "emotional body" on the astral realm getting stimulated mainly, and not your physical body - which's senses are limited for good reasons - at the first place, yet it is so intense, that it can be easily addictive and can reach your body on the material world too.

So even though I've already posted a response on here, just as a joke. I would love nothing more than to be reincarnated as someone who keeps on being the same asshole I am today. Like...what's up world, ready for round 10,568? Fuck yeah!

True. I really used to dread nothingness. That is until I started thinking about other options:
  • We live in a simulation created by us in another/higher dimension/universe. Well, if this is something we engineered, then I read to think of what the actual higher dimension is like. It must be shit, if we made this as something better. I imagine a Matrix-like scenario. I don't want that.
  • The Egg/hivemind training/split consciousness into all humans that once "ascended" combines back into one mega/superior conscience. Might be cool, but lonely.
  • Into the multiverse/permanent DMT trip/multiple spirit realms that you can travel through. Might be interesting at first, but would probably get bored. Still better than most other options.
  • Religious heaven/hell concepts. I can't think of anything worse. Hell would be suffering, and so would heaven without a bit of hedonism.
  • The time slowing/replaying as you die concept I talked about earlier. Would probably be miserable if your circumstances of death weren't perfect.
  • Living as a formless spirit, unable to interact with anything in any significant way. Horrible imo.
  • Rebirth. Also not great.
No matter what I try to think of, if I remain objective, realistic and not hopeful and wanton, whatever I end up thinking of has some serious drawbacks. In the grand scheme of things, simply not existing anymore might actually be the simplest, easiest, most comforting thing. At least you can't suffer, can't be left desiring things you will never get. You don't want anything, you don't need anything.

At the same time... I think to myself... that can't be it right... How could I, a thinking, feeling being just... cease to exist so completely...

I don't know man.
I have studied Astral Experience [as an overall subject] and what I have gathered from this, is that it appears there is an elemental principle involved with the next phase to which we engage with - mind-to-mind - and this interaction largely goes unnoticed by the majority who experience it.

However, there are those who do step back and examine the process, who have determined therein, that the effect of the engagement is that it delivers what the personality most wants, expects, believes and this is part of the process and is not permanent for the individuate mind experiencing .... whatever it is they have non-consciously created for themselves, and enter into that with the assumption that "something else" is creating the experience for them....pretty much in line with what theists say about this current reality we are al experiencing...

In that process observed, there is a recognizable co-creation occurring - but the truth of that process is occulted from the conscious awareness of the one doing/having the experiencing.

Veering off now into the realm of mythology - I imagine an invisible Personal Genie [PG] who responds to my wishes, and those wishes allow the PG do enact its reason for being - a joyous thing indeed...so better all around if our PGs are not ignored.

But they do have to be trained for they can be so literal when it comes being told what to do [consciously or otherwise] and the consequences are often not so good for collective humanity practicing/interacting with this occulted reality.

The idea forward is to engage lovingkindness - one aspect I have empowered my PG with, is the ability to engage with me so together we might work the weirdness out. :)

Ultimately - it is something to do with my otherwise mundane existence.

You may recall that the Don Juan told Castaneda that one of the two human minds is a "foreign installation"

Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

The foreign installation may more correctly be termed "the personal will" as it manages the human personality to protect itself (the foreign installation). The personal will has as its highest asset its self-esteem. It hates to be wrong and will allow the human to suffer/die rather admit error/stupidity
