How do you apply your practices to your day-to-day lives? How do you use magic to enhance your results in the mundane world?
What ritual did you use, if any? And were there ever consequences to the influx of cash?So I thought I'd ask a demon. I couldn't think of which one to use so I just called 'any demon that could help me'. The next next day I manifested enough cash that I had to open a second bank account!
That sounds like a very interesting living situation. Was this a cabal or sangha of some kind? Or just a random group of people who drank the same vibe?he and I and a whole bunch of people lived together for about six months and we didn't have any money and we'd simply decide every day what we wanted and it would manifest
If the game itself is an illusion, that would make the rules of the game illusory as well. Being free of the rules, that'd give you some advantages for sure. Human History is a delusional, petty psychodrama, and the events on the worldstage today are just as ludicrously insane as they were a thousand years ago. Nationality, religion, political ideology, yes its all a big complicated game and I actively do not engage in it to avoid being made some invisible hand's pawn.I believe this is all a Game and we choose how to play it. I believe it's all an Illusion.
Thank you.By the sounds of it you're doing the right things & your attitude is certainly that of an Adept.
This is a big topic of interest for me personally. I have had firsthand OBE trance experiences and exploring the non-matetial "electromagnetic" realm seems very valuable to me.Don't worry about trance states; they are useful of course. Just 'know' you are making it all happen.
What is a 'shallow form of manifestation'? Surely manifestation is manifestation. I don't think I could snap my fingers and make lightning strike once never mind twice; although I have made it rain by calling on the Aztec god Tlaloc. If you believe you have to perform long, involved rituals then that's how it works for you. For me, and for many other people, it works instantly. But then, I'm an Adept. I spent many years painfully working my way up the Tree to Tiphareth. For those of us that have got there, magic is constant, instantaneous & inexorable.the more i heard about people talking about this shallow form of manifestation, the more it think this is just a very pretentious form of mindfulness. if i cant snap my fingers and make lighting strike twice, its not really worth the effort beyond a fleeting placebo.
none of that will bring back my dead uncle. fuck you. What is a 'shallow form of manifestation'? Surely manifestation is manifestation. Manifest as in ex nihilo? Or manipulating/changing reality via cause and will? The members of my group were talking about using magic for money and the general consensus was that it's easier to manifest stuff than money. I pointed out that money was really the province of demons; see John Dee's many unsuccessful attempts to persuade the angels to provide some cash. Also, the Abramelin states that cash is the province of demons. Now, many years ago, my Adept Mentor said to me "You should be able to snap your fingers and make a cup of coffee appear." And he could. So I thought, why shouldn't we be able to manifest enough cash that it sits there waiting to be used. So I thought I'd ask a demon. I couldn't think of which one to use so I just called 'any demon that could help me'. The next next day I manifested enough cash that I had to open a second bank account!
That's an interesting question. I work on the definition that the magician is at cause ... but my view of the world as illusion would suggest ex nihilo, if I understand what ex nihilo means. When I was much younger I thought, briefly, of an ascetic approach which I dabbled with but not seriously enough. I'm impressed by your dedication.Coffee.
My day, every day, begins at 4:30am. I maintain what would be defined as a "hearth fire." This needs to be maintained and never put out, all for my practice for my family and tribe.
Outside of my tribal practices, I also maintain an ascetic pursuit where I practice the readings and Prayers of the Hours, strictly followed by Rassophores, Stavrophores and Schema Monks. This is difficult due to work, but I try to accomplish what I am able to.
Magic is, in my case, coffee-dark and bitter, like my thoughts.
