Is there any technique to do that? I made a bet with a friend about this. So, should I just astral project and try to enter their mind or what?

I have come across hypnosis files on Patreon that claim to do exactly that. I cannot vouch for the effectiveness; however, I tried one out of curiosity. It was entertaining.

This is the description from the audio, "a subliminal loop with audible and inaudible messages to help you enter your subject's w** dreams by programming your mind with suggestion for this to happen. With Binaural beats."

I am happy to share the link with you. It seems like a loose play on Jung's Collective Unconscious. I really only listened to it a couple of times and it was pleasurable, but I was safely within the confines of my own head and psyche. ;)

I would be glad if you could send it to my DMs, I'm looking forward to experiment with this one.

In the "R'lyeh Text," a supplementary zine accompanying the Hay/Wilson version of the Necronomicon, you are told how to manufacture the Ring of Hypnos, which does exactly what you're wanting here. You have to be able to make a silver ring engraved with sigils, and a bronze bezel attached to it bearing the ciphered name of Hypnos. You then have to bless it with a special incense described elsewhere in the book, and leave it outside for a month. After that, you conjure the spirits of the ring, and seal it away in a specially designed lead box until you want to use it by speaking the name of the person you want to visit while wearing it in your sleep. If sunlight ever touches the ring, its power will be forever destroyed and the spirits will never answer you again.

A similar artifact and conjuration (probably the origin of the R'lyeh version) appears in the Book of Oberon. You make a silver amulet, conceal it for a time, and return afterwards, the whole process resembling something out of Midsummer Night's Dream. As someone mentioned earlier, this is also probably rooted in much older conjurations like those in the PGM.

The common elements appear to be an artifact kept in a specific and special place, a set of words or a charm that addresses spirits related to the power, a long drawn-out process of making and blessing the artifact in which the artifact is "put to sleep" or covered, and then connecting that with the naming of the target person. This can be whittled down and adapted to a variety of different artifacts, words, and acts of naming.

A long time ago, I made the Ring of Hypnos just like what the book describes, which was a major chore. I used it many times and kept its lead box wrapped in silk. It never failed even once, and was tested many times by skeptical friends who stayed over for the night. One of my children now owns it. Other devices, made according to similar principles, would probably operate in a similar way.

There is an excellent and brilliant book on the subject. It is called

Dreamwalking by Michelle M Belinger. ( I don't know if I am spelling her name correctly) but this book is amazing. You can find it in the library. It will teach you a whole lot.

It might sound silly but is there a way to block someone from entering your dreams & astral projecting into my bedroom. I would greatly appreciate any advice or guidance of books/forums offering effective blocking methods.

Is there an effective way/method of blocking someone(a man) from forcing themselves into my dreams and astral projecting into my bedroom. Any guidance on books or groups that can shed light on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

@Sunny6 I see nobody answered you.
So, here are some suggestions.
  • Dreamcatchers: Traditionally Native American, these are used to catch negative energy and evil spirits, allowing only positive dreams to pass through.
  • Black Tourmaline: Widely used in modern practices to create a protective shield around the wearer and absorb negative energy.
  • Tiger's Eye: Often worn or placed under a pillow to aid in protection, focus, and preventing others from messing with your dreams.
  • Clear Quartz: Used in conjunction with other stones to amplify their protective properties.
  • Amethyst: Placed in a pillowcase or near the bed to guard against nightmares.
  • Wood Thistle: A traditional herb that is believed to keep away "ill gaincomers" (undesired beings) while you sleep.
  • Red Coral: Historically used to protect against the "Evil Eye," nightmares, and unnatural visitations, particularly when worn directly against the body.

Methods for Setting Up Protection
  • Creating a Crystal Grid: Placing protection crystals (like black tourmaline or quartz) at the four corners of your room or under your bed can create a protective barrier.
  • Sachets: Filling a small bag with herbs like lavender, rosemary, rue, or mugwort and placing it under your pillow can deter unwanted visitors.
  • Removing Reflective Surfaces: Removing mirrors from the bedroom or covering them is a common practice to stop them from acting as portals for unwanted dream guests.
  • Charging the Talisman: It is recommended to hold your chosen talisman and intentionally infuse it with the goal of blocking specific individuals or energies.

How to Use a Witch Bottle for Dream Protection:
  • Create a Protective Decoy: Fill a small jar with items that "trap" or repel negative energy. These often include sharp objects (bent pins, rusty nails, glass, thorns) to destroy or redirect energy, and protective herbs (rosemary for banishing, mugwort for protection, black salt for neutralization).
  • Use Personal "Tags": To protect your specific subconscious, add items that connect the jar to you, such as your hair, nail clippings, or a name parchment (using blood or special ink).
  • Intention and Sealing: While assembling, consciously state your intent for your dream space to be secure, and seal the jar with black or red candle wax.
  • Placement: Place the bottle under your bed, in your bedroom, or near a window to establish a boundary, or bury it near your home's entryway, as is common in traditional practice.
In my own world, I don't use these items, but enjoy my lightning sphere instead. The lightning sphere is also good for intrusive mind reading attempts, or injected thoughts and feelings from others, curses, or anything else negative.
I started using lightning as a child, when anything was nagging my mind and I wanted it to stop, I would simply let the lightning bang around in my head destroying anything that didn't belong. After a point, I realized I could 'install' this magic sphere that has volition and draws power from anyone or anything attempting to penetrate. I assume it is similar to the folks who practice and use balls of energy, usually between the palms and letting that grow, if I remember that similarity correctly. So, the sphere is as large as your heart field, and uses lightning, so plasma energy that rips everything apart into basic ingredients. These ingredients can then be used for whatever you wish, since they are 'digested' energy and taken apart, so whatever energy it was no longer has the intent or volition, and is bare. Plasma is blindingly bright, and instantaneous.
It starts internally, visualizing some thought or problem that you are chewing on, and wish would go away. You feel the plasma tension growing and then the lightning/plasma starts bouncing around and destroying that thought or problem. Soon you expand that to a protective sphere around you, and set it mentally to automatic. Every now and then you check it and give it something to annihilate. It either works for you, or it doesn't, but I find it works great.
In my world, we all have this automatic protection system that is usually on autopilot. I call it the lock, block, and filter system, and it adjusts to problems very quickly. We mainly just forget that this is one of the most powerful things we naturally have, and that we can use it instead of it being on autopilot all the time. It also keeps most people from using any form of magic, since the majority of the population are on human ego lockdown, and are stuck at/in Malkuth mode. The same system that keeps you safe, keeps you safe from yourself. The ego is not allowed to do much, which is good.

This is truly fascinating to me. Given that the ring would become forever useless if exposed to sunlight, I assume you had to have taken certain measures to prevent it from being exposed whilst you were still sleeping, such as sunlight streaming through your windows. Did you prepare a room specifically to accomplish this, like a fully enclosed closet?
