Best way to activate sigils in your opinion?

I have a few sigils. Never could get them to work.

One of them is tattooed on my chest is supposed to be for telekinesis (figured if it was directly on me it could draw from me... well at least it's decorative)

If I look in a mirror sure but I can also see it if I look down. I also have it as background on my phone and of course in my head.

I read about charging sigils by putting them in your shoe and walking.

My intuition (as im rather inexperienced) has told me that ecstatic dancing, like truly dropping it to the floor like nobody is watching, would be a very powerful way to do this. And while typing this i intuited that somehow (this part is unclear, probably gazing) while making music would be good as well. For me that is music. Plus, with Apollo being one of my "patron" deities, it would be consecrated in a sense.
any creative process should work, and probably the shoe trick would work best in whatever physical exercise you most easily access that flow state of "like nobodies watching" - another thought i had when i thought up the dancing idea was mountain biking.

not to second, third, fourth and so on so many folks in this thread, but i've found that experimenting with different forms of destruction activation have been more my vibe. burning is probably the favorite for a lot of folks, but i've been fond of ripping paper sigils or using water in various ways. semi-recently i drew the sigil with salt in the bottom of a bowl and poured the water in and i feel that particular instance worked out quite well for the purpose i had in mind

interesting! i think that could be a very handy way to do it depending on the intent. i actually may have something in the chamber that would benefit from this- thank you!

Here are my three favorite sigil charging methods:

1. "Light from the Dark" ritual from "Magical Riches" by Damon Brand.
2. A linking sigil that gathers energy and then charges the sigil on your behalf.
3. Employing my familiars, spirit guides, higher self, etc.. to combine energies with me to charge the sigil.

Trace in blood, fold, sleep with under pillow, burn next day while forgetting what it was for & wait.

Method of today: draw the sigil with a pencil on a paper, after gazing and visually let evaporating it in the air make a BIG pile of snow with your bare hands. Dig with your bare hands a hole in it. Put the little paper in it and close the hole with your bare hands. Feel the cold, feel the pain. Yep, did it more than once in my life. In the Netherlands we have lot of chances to do so today because of the snow we have now.
