[Help] Does practicing dark magic, or traditions, have an effect on one's soul or afterlife?

Neither throwing curses utilizing 'demons' nor doing healing petitions to 'saints' have much effect on your afterlife prospects. For most people -including the vast majority of occultists- you're getting recycled and 'you' cease to exist (the constituent parts of you go on into different identities, which explains some past life memories). You need to really do some serious self-development to become a self-directed power in your own right post-mortem.

And concomitantly there is no soul in the sense used by the generic major slave religions.

Like anything 'There i a price to pay' as they say. Most of the mainstream faith sytems believe a soul can be compromised, even sold. Literature provides such examples as in 'Faust'. How badly do you want something in the here and now? What will you give for that?

Hi I'm new here and I have an opinion about this. Its just an opinion though everyone entitled to thier own opinions based on thier own expierences.

Bit of background I'm kind of between practices right now and don't have really any one way. I'm just learning so taking the information I have then deciding which one I want to practice more or less of.

I feel like life is consequence enough and that a forever or maybe just temporary soul punishment is not great to me. I mean I live and if you act not great then people don't like you or you feel guilt or both.

So if their trying to teach the souls i.e. through suffering why not just literally teach the souls. Like they could have teachers. Why are they doing that? I'm sure they might have a reason probably for that so just get to the root reason and negotiate? But it would be really hard. Like most morals in media is do not make a deal because I'm guessing it's hard to make a deal that benefits both parties.

I'm just thinking here because I have anxiety and I like to have a plan for any situation I find myself.

Universal plan is easy - learn to adapt and to improvise. That will get you through most if not all situations.

Thank you for the advice. I should rejoin the improv place to learn how to improvise better. Its the best option I think I have currently.

It was a very fun experience. Hopefully I can make time for it again.
