Interesting. I know first hand an ex drug smuggler who claimed a few things:
An elaborate tunnel system stretching from South America, through Central America and Mexico, into the US.
Shadow beings that were encountered in a tunnel run somewhere around Central America, that dropped to human feces when shot with a silver bullet.
