New Developments in Planetary Magic
Contrary to the misunderstanding of some historians, Rosicrucian
Magic remains a living, growing, evolving synthesis of previously existing
systems, and not merely an object of historical curiosity. The legitimate
criteria to evaluate growth and further development in the R.
R. et A. C. system are: whether said developments are logically consistent,
whether they follow similar lines of synthesis as those used
during the nineteenth century, and whether or not they are magically
effective.
Regarding the Planetary Hierarchy of Divine and Angelical
Names, new research has revealed the traditional distinction between
Sephirothic and Planetary Hierarchies to be false. The correct distinction
lies rather between Sephirothic and Kameothic Hierarchies. In
the "Planetary" Hierarchy, the Divine Names are those of the Sephirothic
Hierarchy, whereas the names of the Planetary Intelligences
and Spirits derive from a system of Magic Squares called the Kameoth.
In conclusion, the Planetary Hierarchy previously employed by the
Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn should no longer be used. Instead,
Rosicrucian Magic must henceforth distinguish between Sephirothic
and Kameothic, rather than Sephirothic and Planetary Hierarchies.
Therefore, when performing Planetary Invocation, Magicians should
first invoke the Divine Name, Archangel, and Angel from the Sephirothic
Hierarchy, followed by the Kameothic Planetary Intelligence.
In Magical Evocation, the Magician would follow this with an Evocation
of the Kameothic Planetary Spirit.
The above paragraphs taken from (THE RITUAL MAGIC MANUAL By David Griffin)
The previous adepts before 1-1-1999 (the book publication date) handled the royal art with The Golden Dawn attributes, correspondences and symbols
and they recieved the promised results.
And adepts after 1999 by handling the Rosicrucian correspondences they also get prized by the promised results
That means both systems (The golden dawn - The rosicrucian) are valid.
So
which you think is more accurate than the other??
