Halphas and Malphas,. Harut and Marut of Islam?

There are many who believe Halphas and Malphas are in fact Harut and Marut two angels of questionable allegiance who test men through sorcerery.

I've had the pleasure of trying an experimental evocation ( for me anyway) involving evoking both Halphas and Malphas together in two separate triangles. It was disorienting trying to hear them both at the same time but my request was granted quickly.

For offerings I gave meat, cheese and dragons blood and copal incense and public praise.

Anyone have any experience with them or know more of thier history?

I had to recheck some notes, but I remember reading somewhere that many consider these two spirits to be Shemhazaī, and Uzza from Jewish lore.

There are even parallels with two Zoroastrian angels who may be the earliest record of those two spirits, or spiritual lines.

Maybe if you don't have the balls, that's not a problem of mine. If there is little Known about a spirit I see it as an opportunity to learn first hand.

Before anyone asks Fuego is speaking about Prince Prislas what I consider the longlost 73rd spirit of the Goetia.

Back on topic. The reason I made the post isn't that I was in the dark about them,I've worked with them several times and had satisfying results. I'm mostly curious about the Islamic Angel legend.

You see according to some scholars the angels were actually good angels. Commonly it is believed the are evil though.

Ive met harut and marut, but it was more like an invocation where you see the world change and not the beings who do it.

Ive also worked/learned from an egregore sent to me by a friend, it looked like a raven.

Then there is this paradigm i switch on and of according to boredom that shows me that angels are egregores.

But i think that in standard islamic teachings in combination with for example the berhatiah as occult background, they are seen as 2 different things.

So just like you, i can wonder, but in the end its still a believe system. And right now, as a moslim, i tend to believe angels are very strong egregores, born like athena. And some egregores gain 'life' and became the fallen angels. People who work with egregores know you need to take care of them or destroy them as things can go wrong.

If im correct halphas and malphas are mentioned in the goetia. There is a discussion whether the demons in the goetia are you or seperate beings.

To be honest, since ive taken them as part of me, life has gotten a lot better. Only thing is spiritwork does the same thing. So again no answer, just the choice.

Yes there is a discussion ongoing for many years whether the Goetic spirits are objective entities or parts of us.

If we look on one hand the unity of all things means there is nothing separate from myself.

As a practicioner of Goetic evocation 22 years however I've found just the opposite in actual practice. They have minds, wills, emotions of thier own, dreams goals and agendas and can openly express real ams dangerous hostility to the magician.

You know what man?!? It could just be someone else's bullshit upg that I read. Nearly accepted it as fact to until you just reminded me that's probably what the harut and marut connection is.

I don't like to be front loaded with expectations when I meet a spirit either. I want my own experience to uncluttered by the views of others.

I'm fixing to meet two LHP spirits soon. Raflifu and Verrine. I've been careful not to absorb too much upg from others

From the islamic pov, Harut and Marut are angels, and they were sent to earth to test mankind, but they did not teach unless the angels said that this is a test, still people didn’t care and learned how to break up relationships and such. I don’t think they are the same since they were sent down from heaven, while Halphas and Malphas was down here already?(since they rebelled, you know the story).
