[Opinion] Has anyone worked with 67. AMDUCIAS of Goetia? Does he really have this power...

Everyone's got one.

Has anyone in this forum worked with AMDUCIAS? I have read a few books on Goetia, and 3 of them have this kinda similar power when giving a description of AMDUCIAS's power.

1. Demons of Magick: Three Practical Rituals for Working with The 72 Demons (The Gallery of Magick) by

  • To cause somebody to bend to your will.
  • To make those who are determined lose their will.

2. Goetia Pathworking: Magickal Results from The 72 Demons (Magick of Darkness and Light) by Corwin Hargrove
  • Break the will of another: Use against a competitor or enemy, to make them lose the will to compete, continue to fight you, or in any other way that pleases you.
  • Make somebody compliant: When somebody is resistant to your suggestions, use this power to make them so submissive they are willing to agree with you obediently.

3. The Magick of Angels and Demons: Practical Rituals for The Union of Power (The Power of Magick) by Henry Archer
  • To make another person agree with you.
  • To make somebody who is filled with purpose lose the will to continue.

---------

What do these authors mean when they list these 2 powers? Does that mean AMDUCIAS has the power to make a person do whatever you want them to do? Like - make someone sleep with you, buy your terrible product 😜 (If you are in sales), etc.

Or are these authors wrong and AMDUCIAS does not have such powers? What is your opinion???

I mean, his description on the Lemegeton seems to point towards that. I've never worked with him, though. Another demon who can bend the will of the others is King Paimon

Paimon? According to the books I have, their description says something like -

To make a named individual more easily influenced during conversation.

or

Influence through presence: This power makes you more able to influence another person to take on your ideas, trust you, or follow you as a leader, when you spend time talking to that person. The effect will last until that person experiences great personal change.

or

To control the thoughts and feelings of another via the will.

-------------------------------

I just don't know if this power will be powerful enough to bend the will of the others

From the Lemegeton: "He bindeth or maketh any man subject unto the Magician if he so desire it." from Pseudomonarchia Daemonum: "He giveth dignities and confirmations; he bindeth them that resist him in his owne chaines"

He's a King, and, despite being replaced with Corson in Pseudomonarchia and the Lemegeton (Ars Goetia), he's the Cardinal King of the West, which certainly is a position above the other Kings

I'm sure Amduscias would do a great job, though

Then I would try to work with them both to see how they are different in power and method.
