Hi from N. Ireland,

I signed up to this forum just to ask if someone might be able to identify if this bundled twig object that I found directly outside my house is anything related to witchcraft / curses or a hex ? (I'm not involved in witchcraft myself)

I found it quite odd that it would be placed there, but I do believe that there are those practicing the dark arts that live in my area.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I moved it just in case. Seems like a binding (of whatever) I like to do these type mini curses / hexes with natural materials.
If you haven't angered anyone I wouldn't worry too much. Maybe do an uncrossing / banishing and take a shower afterwards.

This is a hex, but it doesn’t aim at you or your family. Sometimes stuff like this just gets carried by the wind and ends up outside somebody’s house. I just wanted to comment because if you or anyone reading this ever sees something similar again, you’ll have an idea of how to deal with it.

I definitely wouldn’t touch it even with gloves on. And I wouldn’t use third party stuff either, like cardboard, a shovel, etc. because at that point you have the intention to “carry it.” It’ll affect you, even if it’s only a small degree of effect when it’s not actually directed at you, it’s still not something you want on you.
Same thing with putting it in a trash bag or plastic bag or anything where you’re carrying it is a no.
Don’t burn it. Burning it affects the person doing the burning instead of being the cleanse people think it’s going to be.

So the best option is honestly to have somebody else pick it up and get it away from you, but I know that’s way easier said than done because it sounds suspicious. A creative workaround is using a leaf blower or anything with enough force to blow it away from your property and off to the side of the road.
