It clearly isn't working if people are coming into threads requesting additional perspective. I will explain why. it isn't working
This is from the Wiki page on the LBRP. "The banishing ritual is perceived as banishing any chaotic or impure forms of the elements from the by tracing the in the air and by the power of certain . The invoking ritual is perceived to invoke pure forms of the elements."

The vampiric tendril is a manifestation of their will. In the vein of will we can think of the ultimate creative force, Keter.
This is to say, from one divine spark to another the vampiric tendril manifests as the vampires pure divine will and links with the victims own crown.
Not chaotic in nature, not an impure element. So by definition alone, we can see that basic banishing spells don't work. You would need to defend yourself in some other way, such as invoking Camael to pass judgement on the vampire.
Spiritual parasites are incomplete manifestations on this Earth, which opens them up to weakness that basic spellcasting can capitalize on. Vampire's are often enlightened, wholly composed, occultists who exist totally in multiple heavens. If you can't see why a banishing spell wouldn't work to ward one off, you are lacking in the very fundamental knowledge neccesary to properly work with demons/spiritual beings.
What even crazier than that though, I told you how to protect from psychic vampirism with shields. You don't have to believe me, but dont act like I'm not reading the room when you have A. ignored the messages in this thread, and B. ignored the solution in favor of arguing your basic understanding is superior to someone elses.

You don't need to be rude just because you are in over your head in conversation. You obviously don't understand the depth of what is being discussed here and for some reason you insist on making attacks of my character when I have been nothing but helpful to you despite my opinion of you. You're lack of character and knowledge speaks volumes for your ignorance.
