Hello everyone. I am new here and I came across this platform about 20 days ago while I was in the middle of my struggles and searching for answers. I hesitated to ask my first question until now as I believed I could manage everything on my own. But at this point, I feel as though my hands are tightly tied and perhaps even a tiny spark of hope or consolation from you might help me save the most beautiful thing in my life and give me the strength to achieve the best in my life so that I can clearly focus on my dreams which in turn can contribute to greater goodness overall.
That’s why I wanted to start here under this thread as I didn’t want to risk breaking any rules by posting directly under the questions section. My concern is are we allowed to ask questions that are not directly about performing spiritual rituals but still fall in that direction? For example, if I wanted to ask about someone’s presence whether they are alive or not; Would that go against the rules? Or if we could do or say something to find out if they are alive?

This is very important to me right now as I have stopped everything in my life because of this uncertainty. Thank you in advance for your understanding and for taking the time to read and respond. (For your information, this is not about a person)

Welcome to the forum! I'm sorry you seem to be going through some turmoil.

Though this is your introduction, you seem to have a specific question in mind, so along with welcoming you aboard, I'll give you my two cents, especially because this is important to avoid you going into some kind of looming psychosis.

I'm alive, you're alive, everyone and everything is life itself. I have lived an entire life you don't know anything about, and I have just as much a right to call myself a living being as you do. All activity happens within the swirling magical storm of consciousness, in all it's manifestations, there is nothing except Life, death itself is just transformation of Life morohing into new life.

If questions like this are causing you serious trouble, you may want to speak with a therapist or Psychiatrist, the Esoteric can be destabilizing and it's critical to have a solid foundation in the mundane and in basic psychological wellbeing before diving into any of this stuff.

It mainly depends on whether you're looking for a definitive answer or want to invite opinions and start a discussion about a given subject. In Occult Q&A, you often find practical 'how-to' questions about technicalities; in General Occult Discussions, there's the additonal option of selecting prefixes for your thread title, e.g. "Help" or "Opinion" and phrasing your question accordingly.

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond. What really scares me is not life or death itself but the feeling of being lost in a sea of obscurity. Today I’ll share my situation with this community in the hope of finding an answer or at least some kind of consolation.

Thank you very much for your valuable recommendation. I will follow it and share my question without breaking the rules. I truly appreciate the time you took and your kind response here.
