Hello! I’m wanting to learn about witchcraft and have been looking for good history book on witchcraft or older style Grimoires to learn from

I liked the Athlone History of Witchcraft and Magic in Europe in 6 volumes. The Library link is dead, so search for "Witchcraft and Magic in Europe" by Bengt Ankarloo, Stuart Clark (eds.) or the original title here:

I don't know about witchcraft grimoires though - were there literate witches in olden times? The Discoverie of Witchcraft by Reginald Scot maybe?

When I say older style, I mean like the lesser key of Solomon type stuff. I know a bit about it, but I was meaning things of that like. I guess that doesn’t have to technically classify as a Grimoire

Also what does a link bent dead mean?
