Spells during an Eclipse

Hello fellow witches and wizards,
on the 12. of August the Moon will block the Sun and cast its shadow across western Europe.
I will receive a view of the partial eclipse during the sunset. This combination of daytime and
astrological event urges me to perform a divination.

Now I ask thee, should I even attempt a spell during the twilight hour of a partial eclipse?
It is my first time performing any kind of spell during an eclipse.
From what I heard eclipses bring choatic energy and cause uncertain outcomes.
This is why I wish to start with a divination, to assess the situation.

What are your experiences with eclipses?
Are there any other spells you would do yourself during this event?

I've been giving this some thought because of the impending eclipse. I'm also a chaos magician, so that aspect is a tool for me rather than a deterrent.

As it happens, I have a personal situation that could benefit from just such energies.

What do you make with the choatic aspect and how could a novice harness it?

What a coincidence, I to have a personal goal as I wish to help a friend.
It is quite choatic in their inner life at the moment and I want to help them to see clearly and align their energies again, to flow in one direction.

I think, it is certainly a good moment to place a seed of chaos into any established system. The perfect moment.

Indeed. I'm in UK and an election on the 13th needs some energy of this sort. I'm thinking of directing my efforts there rather than my personal needs.

As an Astrologer, I'd advise against doing ANYTHING during an Eclipse.

As a Chaote... If both Nasa and Cern did experiments during an eclipse, why shouldn't I?
(the Sun is Digested by the Tail of the Serpent while in his Domicile of Leo. Something something Ego something?)
