spiritual attack from my father

My father is a Buddhist monk and has Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). For many years, I have been blamed for things that were not my fault, and I believe I have also been under continuous spiritual attack.
My background is mainly in Onmyōdō, Shinto, and Esoteric Buddhism, so I’m not new to ritual practice. However, I’m new to Western ceremonial magic and am currently studying it.
What is the strongest protective ritual you perform regularly, and why do you consider it effective? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would not use practices unfamiliar to me to defend against someone capable of attack. The 3 traditions you mentioned have more than enough. Why would you want to change practices for this?
Actually the 3 traditions are quite not enough in my case. These resources are quite limited traditionally kept within hereditary lineages and is not publicly available. There is some old books you can purchase, but mostly it is written in old literature and it is difficult to read.
Beside that, western magics seems to be more publicly available, and its texts are easier to read, even though many of them were written a long time ago.

If you are looking specifically at Western ceremonial magic, the absolute gold standard for daily protection and sovereignty is the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (LBRP), ideally paired with the Middle Pillar Exercise.

Here is why it is so effective, especially in your specific situation:

  1. Establishing Sovereignty: A parental connection, especially one involving NPD, operates through a deep-seated psychological and energetic 'backdoor.' Standard wards often fail because some part of your subconscious still recognizes their authority. The LBRP doesn't just push energy away; it formally establishes your personal space as the absolute center of your universe, where only your divine authority rules. It completely overrides ancestral/familial authority.
  2. Formulating the Auric Shield: The Middle Pillar then circulates light to strengthen your aura (sphere of sensation). This makes your energetic boundary resilient, meaning their projections or 'attacks' simply slide off instead of finding a hook in your subconscious.
Since you already have a strong background in Eastern esoteric systems, you'll find the visualization and vibration of names in the LBRP very familiar (it shares a lot of functional DNA with mantra work and creating mandalas/sacred space). It’s highly accessible, heavily documented, and has centuries of collective momentum behind it.

Thanks for the advice. I had suspected that the attacks from my father might somehow strengthen or reinforce the spiritual attacks I’ve been experiencing.

I’m currently studying several books on the Golden Dawn and preparing to eventually work through The Lesser Key of Solomon. The LBRP seems to be a common foundational practice among ceremonial magicians.

I haven’t come across the Middle Pillar Exercise in the books I have so far, but I’ll definitely keep it in mind. Thanks again for the recommendation.

Good explanation of the exercise is in Damien Echols book High Magick.

First, assume the person has attacked you unfairly (initiated violence), has been forsaken by all their allies, and has no spiritual protection. Assume this until it's just reality.

Second, assume you can meet their level of violence with no reprisal - and they are in a moral free zone. Do not exceed this. No death rites in return for mere insults.

Go to the spirits who oversee those traditions, tell them what your relative has done, that you are blameless, and to deal with them. Basically tattle on them . Keep this up the entire time. Unless they are dealing with some harsh spirits as allies - and most magicians are not , and are usually focused on advancing spiritually - most spirit guardians (however they are conceived of) of religions will not appreciate what your relative is doing.

Perform a reversal spell. You can model it on the Afro-Latino Hoodoo / Brujeria traditions. FYI there are people in China and other parts of Asia using or being inspired by this form of magic / brujeria.

I am Latino, so feel free. If anyone complains about appropriation because you are not Latino tell them Mr. Black said it was okay. :)

And finally, when you get good at evoking spirits, summon a spirit who is good at invisibility so his bullshit can't find you.

Then, later, once you have more daemonic allies, if you wish to turn the tides, summon much harsher ones and teach him a lesson

I would say the same as @MorganBlack , there's a thread I linked around so many time of simple cursebreakers/reversals spells written by draja you can do.

For psalms you can grind psalm 54 and 91 daily morning, noon, evening and before sleep until you get the momentum and force to push back and to keep a spiritual protection going on.

Just don't lose your cool headedness, and cleanse frequently or regularly to maintain spiritual hygiene.

You are very welcome! It’s completely natural for parental or family dynamics to hook into our energetic field they are often our deepest roots, which also makes them the trickiest vulnerabilities until we consciously reclaim our sovereign space.

Starting with the Golden Dawn foundations and working your way toward the Lesser Key of Solomon is a solid, time-tested path. When you do get around to exploring the Middle Pillar Exercise, you're in for a treat; as Seimulluh mentioned, Damien Echols' High Magick is a fantastic, highly practical resource that breaks it down brilliantly.

Take it step by step, build your energetic armor daily, and you'll watch those outside lines lose their grip entirely. Wishing you a clear and powerful path ahead! ☺️

Have you read protection and reversal magic by jason miller? it has a great shielding ritual where you summon the gorgons - medusa and her sisters - as a protective sheild when you are under attack, this help me greatly. The book also addresses the imporantence of cleasing as well as shielding as you need to both prevent more damage being made and stop/clear out the damage which was already made from the beginning of the attack because it can linger. i went through a period of attacks and those methods help me through. good luck :)

I would advise you to opt for sworn book of honorius. It has tons of Christian prayers. Even if you are not christian, just think of God as an non Christian creator and it will work. The best part of honorius is that it is filled to the brim with protective prayers. So even if you don't do rituals, those prayers when changed regularly can cut off almost any spiritual attack

Am sorry to say this but if my interpretation of the title is true, l think it's not totally correct. It's your father and the idea of him attacking you is way out of proportion. What is happening is that your dabbing into things he doesn't want. His reaction to what you're doing is what is affecting you. He is not wicked as l see. Two of you are on the same platform and believe me, master is master. He's your father. If he did not kill you when you were a toddler, why now? My take is this- change your platform spiritually. Cease practicing what he practice. You cannot win him while on same spiritual platform. Satan does not cast out satan. Remove the thought he is after your life. Develop your spiritual capacity and every other things will fall into place.
