A- objective and physical: we are a bunch of disposable slaves, a condition we have been subjected to for probably many centuries.
B- subjective and metaphysical: whatever you wanna believe in and live for, be it love or evil, you can create your reason and reality.

Life has no intrinsic reason or meaning; you have to create that for yourself.

I believe that this, much like the Wheel in the Tarot, is a passage — a way of progressing according to the mission our Higher Self carries within. Only if we gain experience from what does not allow us spiritual elevation can we truly move forward in this dimension, advancing our own evolution and, consequently, the evolution of the universe itself, which renews through the evolution of the soul.


On the other hand, it is not so simple. The challenges are cyclical and often lead us back into the same eternal pattern. Thus, the famous ouroboros renews itself, sometimes preventing the evolution of souls.


In the end, the world is divided into two circles that form an eight, and the meaning of the eight lies in dividing the worlds, integrating them, and ultimately becoming unity.

Pretty typical quote that gets brought up in these discussions, but it rings true for me. The universe is consciousness and we are conscious for a sort of communal exploration of and with the universe. Being alone is pretty sad and boring, so I think we exist as these offshoots of the ultimate oneness as a natural response. It's the same reason the world operates in cycles, I think; from life and death, the rise and fall of empires, the changing seasons, etc. It all comes back to the ultimate unity and interconnectedness of things..

I believe the purpose of life, at least according to the Creator in this Universe, is to make one Great Choice-the only real choice we all, I mean every single soul in this Universe, have-to decide to become Creators ourselves or merge with our own Creator and thus finish our Paths in his. If you decide to become a Creator yourself you, however, must learn to endure suffering, sometimes great one, not only to yourself but to all of your potential creations, too. Suffering is the price for living. If you, however, want to break free of the cycle of existence itself, and thus end all of your suffering forever, then the path for the merger with the Creator is the right one for you. It all boils down to this single defined particular choice-continue on living as Creators which must make their creations suffer, or, be one with your one and escape all existence through exiting the suffering-creation-suffering cycle. That IS the ultimate choice you have in this Universe, and it, kind of, explains what we are all doing here-either learning to become Creators ourselves, or trying to reach the Source and end our existence there. That is The Point of it all!

What would anyone choose? It's entirely up to him/her. That is the only choice no one can take away from you!

In the end it just gets so exhausting thinking about this topic... suffering takes you to higher states or interrupt reincarnations or you are divine source yourself or you can achieve this and that and blah blah blah... who wants to suffer in exchange for what a theory says after all? I've suffered so much and there are people who are suffering even more that I say to hell with it! A peaceful trauma-free life is all people who suffer had wished for, yes it's nice believing in possibly achieving divine states but hey in the end it's all a bunch of theories, one might believe in this and other might not and are feeling much better, one might believe in doing good deeds and others might believe for example in sacrificing people to a god they might believe in, I wonder who can actually be sure who is wrong and who is right, what is true and what is false?

@Ohana I'm sorry but I don't think reality works in the way you like it. If you have problems with this Creation-make one of your own. When I was in a similar situation to yours many many many lifetimes ago and I wished to run down on the Creator for not giving me what I want, I got a detailed explanation as to why things are the way they are and why if you want them different you must take up the mantle of Creator and see can you actually do a better job than this Creator. In short-if you don't like this Universe-design yours. See how difficult this thing is and if you still want to take a try even as you see how difficult the task is, well, then, may be, you being a Creator was the right choice all along and this is your calling.

Just sitting around and complaining isn't going to get you anywhere-there are plans far bigger than us and the only way for you to actually make even a dent in this Great Circuit of existence is to pick one of them and make it the one of your Universe, of course, if that is your calling. I did say it's ultimately a CHOICE-you can have it or you can leave it. No one can force you into becoming a Creator. That is how simply the Universe is and we can't do a thing to change it.

@Borealis I speak from the Soul. That is the truth my Soul realized a long long long time ago and here and now I'm trying to convey it to a larger audience. Yes, you can think of me as mental for what I'm speaking about but, at least, I do have an answer for the query this thread is based upon-namely, what are we really here for. I have found my answer and want to share it with the world. If you think you have found a better answer-go ahead and challenge mine. If you prove out to really be better I will step down and admit your superiority. But until then I will defend my point of view, for I see it gives me something no other such point up until it gave me-clarity. Clarity as to what is true and false, clarity as to what are the Paths I could choose from in this Universe, and ultimately clarity as to how to live my own life. I dare you come up with a response that could do that better than mine if you want to overrule it.

One Creator cannot fully work. Absolute power does corrupt even if not immediately it will given enough time. There has to be checks and balances. I'm trying to check this maybe existing Creator I don't know for sure. But if there is one then there already seems to be ways to improve this.

This is me doing better. I used to say nothing when I found something was wrong. No boundaries with anyone. Now I'm finally saying something. I used to blame myself for everything wrong with my life.

I am partly to blame but their are some circumstances that are outside my control

This is how you step into the Path of becoming a Source. But be careful, in order for something to exist it must have a reason that outstrips the effort required to keep it into existence in the first place, or to be more precise-everything that exists comes with a price. For example, the price of joy is misery, the price for pleasure-pain, the price for living-suffering. If you want to be a God you must create an existence where all these different prices are in balance with each other and they compensate themselves entirely-to the last iota. And that is the most difficult thing about being a Creator. However, if you can handle it, may be, that is the Path for you?

Hmm maybe I could create works of art? Creating an entire world seems like a lot of pressure and I think I have enough pressure as is.

Because I suffer and understand it it means I could probably create nice works of art. But unfortunately due to circumstances outside my control I now have a phobia about expressing myself. I'm trying though to overcome that fear now.

@Ohana only when you actually go down your journey you would find out the answers to your questions. Being a God will never be about satisfying some lower material desires. You will literally not even have a body if you decide to go down that Path. Your "body" would be an Universe, your dream would be a reality, your Soul will command an entire Universe. What brighter creation than this one? Your Soul only knows the answer of what do you really wish to go through in order to achieve your final objective. It always knew. The matter is you need to do the work of uncovering it. It has always been your duty and challenge to mine your Soul for the information you need and the journey you have been on-with all its obstacles and shortcuts-is there to prepare your Soul for this ultimate question. I will disappear tomorrow, your luck will change, you will go through yet another transformation but the essence of this question I'm bringing you about here and now-What is your Soul's ultimate choice will be with you till you exist or are in this Universe. It may not come to the surface tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, or a year from now, or may be two year, or may be again till the end of this lifetime...but, eventually, it will and then you will have to weight in the suffering you know, which will be placed as the price for living, and the creation you can see on a scale for you to choose-which one do you prefer and which one weights in heavier for you. Of that I'm certain. And the choice would be all yours. And that choice will mark your Soul forever!
