Where do you perform your evocations?

To OP, I perform all of my evocation rituals in my parlor room. Not out of secrecy, but because I can stuff up the doors and windows and absolutely drench the atmosphere in heavy smoke and incense, and the appropriate lighting. It makes it otherworldly, and helps transcend the every-day experience.

I do them in my garage. The floor is perfect for drawing circles with chalk, and it's just a lot more convenient than going somewhere else to do them. I would do them in my room, but my roommate has a "no demons in the house" rule! The garage is fine though. (I don't really see a difference but she does!)

We had advice from the spirits to set up our conjuration room in the add-on room because its beyond the threshold of the original house. Made sense to me in that weird way that spirit/magic logic does. They aren't technically in the threshold.

I usually perform them in a quiet, private space where I won't be disturbed. Having a calm environment helps me stay focused.

Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of that all the time. I don't live alone and while I have an abundance of state parks near me, they are always packed with joggers, dog walkers or random people just walking and smoking weed, etc so unless I'm doing work in a graveyard then 9 times out of 10 I do magick in my own home. However, I will admit that I have yet to have any adverse effects myself. Now....my roommate, his girlfriend and even his daughter when she's over....they've had experiences but not me. I always make sure the spirits I work with do their best not to disturb the others in the home but you know how the dead can be. Heck, demons are more careful than the damned dead! Luckily they've only had experiences in dreams or by "feelings". Nothing physical. So, for me, yeah it's safe. But then again, I know how to protect myself. But for those around me? Lol.....idk.
This was definitely worth reading.

Thanks for breaking it down so clearly.
