I beg your pardon, and with the highest respect, this is a common misconception.
Judaism, as it's written in the Torah and as it's practiced by the majority of adherents, is not hateful to polytheism. It is very much a live and let live religion.
Best example in written scripture comes from the book of Micah, chapter 4, specifically verse 5.
For let all people walk everyone in the name of his gods, ( "אלהיו" is plural ) and we will walk in the name of the Lord our God for ever and ever.
The misconception, "Judaism is hateful towards polytheism", is founded on a false assumption and or ignorance of the reasons Why the Jewish people were commanded to exterminate the 7 "unholy nations". The reason is given in Deuteronomy. It's not because they are poly-theists. See below:
12:29
When the Lord your God shall cut off the nations from before you, where you go to dispossess them, and live in their land;
12:30
Take heed to yourself that you be not snared by following them, after they are destroyed from before you; and that you inquire not about their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? that I may also do likewise.
12:31
You shall not do so to the Lord your God; for every abomination to the Lord, which he hates, have they done to their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burned in the fire to their gods.
Every abomination: rape, murder, kidnapping... burning their children in the fire. <--- that's the reason. Not polytheism.
The best example comes from the conflict in India between Hindu and Muslims. It's relatively recent history; well documented.
