What about these, the ones from behind the dhikr/verses/chapters of the quran. The terms can be fine for some people but kind of difficult for others. I know many of them are based on a certain number of recitations either daily or weekly, long rituals. Like reciting a dua or verse x number of times. I recall one requirement for the khodam jinn of ayatul kursi, being about 3-4 hours of recitations a day. Some mad sufi would be happy with that  What requirements are you talking about here? Similar?

You are a wild guy, that's why we love you!(y)

I've heard from some mad sufi stories about people who broke the contract and things went completely downhill after that. In one case a shaykh had to interfere to save the guy. It was a contract with khodam jinn of some other chapter/verse not kursi.

I like the ones more where a contract is made for a certain duration, to recite. Many others though they make one that is for a lifetime and this can become problematic.

It's like what @solxyz said, the recitations, engaging in prayer and staying pure. It can be done let's say in the churches where you light candles before icons. You could ask for certain something and offer prayers. Perhaps you get a dream where a monk like figure shows up. Then something happens. As always of course if you have an agreement, honor your part of the detail and fulfill the requirements.

Damn autocorrect, meant to say deal not detail.
They used to offer contracts a lot more frequently than they do now, but I never accept them I prefer authority over contracts. But the worst requests I've had were blood and people, I think the weirdest request was for a silly party cup that I keep full or else it will kill my garden. I usually don't take them. I think I have one active contract right now but my end and its end are incredibly benign. My experience with the djinn is more often than not they are not interested in religion, religious commitments, or sacred texts; though I can weaponize certain salawats, the basmala, and godnames against them if things go south and I need to enter interrogation mode. Most of them have had the motivation of getting someone to let them out. And that kind of narrative has destroyed better wizards than I, so I don't engage with them on that level.

A pact does not have to be like a legal contract where, in exchange for Party B rendering XYZ services to Party A for a certain number of years, Party A gives their soul to Party B, etc and so forth. It can be as simple as smearing your blood on a spirit seal. The spirit then becomes an extension of the person’s consciousness.

So instead of a clear agreement you can just let it squat in your subconscious? What are you exactly supposed to get from that?

No, that is not a pact. That is something like an open-ended, undefined alliance. Those are also good spirit relationships to have, although I would absolutely not be putting my blood on a demonic seal without a very clear definition of terms.

I see, that is a form of pact, you keep your end of the deal and they keep theirs. The more i learn about the Saints the more versitile they are, there is very little i want to ask demons now. Of course there are always going to be things i won't bring to a saint

I am fine with calling it an open-ended undefined alliance. Just to be clear, it is not something I recommend doing.

Yes but the spirits who come from there, especially when you do saint work in churches, if you are asking for weird material things they never reach the saints, completely different ones fulfill your requests. People ask to manipulate events, people, bend their will. Would somebody holy really do that for your selfish goals? I've messed around with the saint stuff since the early days and it has always triggered really weird spirits.
I asked them for things which went against their nature, all the time.
Requests related to asceticism, prayer, better connection to the prayers, scriptures and purification of mind, thoughts. All these reached them and the effects were completely different.
Most of the agreements I made were based on recitations and they worked fine but you kind of always overpay with the energy, and all of these systems require a lot, especially if you do it with the psalms or sufi methods. It was fine because I like the practices a lot.
Some of them were on-going agreements where as long as I kept doing certain rituals, unseen support came at all times.

the djinn
Ah yes I remember, well yes they're the different djinn, those never want recitations. I think you spoke about this in one of your videos too.

I see, is this a catholic thing or orthodox? I remember hearing about "Abara" is this who answers or is there more like him?
So the requests that are less selfish actually go to the saints and the more selfish ones go to the other spirits.
What do you mean overpay with energy? like they require a lot of you compared to other systems?
How do you set up the "ongoing agreements" i would love to set that up with one of my favorite Saints?
Is any of this stuff in books? i am very interested

It seems to happen both with catholic and orthodox practices. My main systems are orthodoxy and sufism, with some catholic stuff.

Abara yes, the one behind Nicholas icon. There are more of them. I started questioning what was going on after a decade of saint work. Many of my requests were material and often I found myself in strange aggressive states. Church stuff supposedly should make you calm, positive and pure right, well I found myself to be exceptionally high but also enraged after going there. It's a feeling of a power trip, goes on for quite a while.

The best would be to negotiate, for this you need the ability to feel answers coming to you. This can also happen in dream like states, after doing the rituals.
With some of the methods you can get on-going support, like all psalms every day will bring "something" near you. About like the khodam servants in sufism, There's something near you, in special states you can hold conversations or just get information.
These methods require commitment, daily recitations of something, all of them take a lot. It's like overpaying"paying a lot in energy" to get support, where your part is a part time job. It's fine if you like doing it. It gives a nice on-going altered state as well.

St Nicholas, let's say you go for the spiritually enlightening requests, light candles in church and set up an altar at home, with an icon, incense and candle. Readings involve akathists, psalms. Akathists to Nicholas are straight forward, with the psalms you can state in front of the altar that you dedicate the reading to it, before/after the reading. Now of course the most effective would be to recite all psalms, which is like entire liturgy.

You could state in front of the church icons that you are willing to offer x number of prayers, akathists, something, in return of ... Then you start doing it and if everything goes right the request will get granted. Perhaps you'll get a conversation somehow, in a state, dreams, something. Then again people often ask for absurd stuff to be granted and it just does not work at all.
You could follow formulas to get the servant (sufi stuff) to come and negotiate, asking what it wants and if they're the ones from behind the verses/dhikr, you will be paying in recitations. This might be a fixed number daily, weekly, and so on.

There are almost no useful books, I had to learn a lot by trial and error and through endless chats with people online.

With some it's like you recite, something comes near, stays near, and if you need support with whatever it will get granted on the go.

I see so maybe for every Saint there could be a shadow behind it, people aren't perfect so it make sense that some entities would come to fulfill their selfish desires in place of the Saints. Is the offering given to the Saints (prayers/Recitations) the same to these other entities when asking for more material things? Maybe you could ask the Saints about this strange emotional state you get after you petition these.
Maybe it is their payment that they are taking, if so i would happily pay if i wanted something bad enough.

So i could Make a deal with a saint like " i will recite all the psalms over a week (21-22 per day) for Helping me level up spiritually.
When i get to the point that i am comfortable reading all of the Psalms in one try i will see if i can dedicate this to Saint Benedict, he is very popular here for Monastic practices.
I could probably ask for my business to keep it's momentum in return for a certain number of recitations over long periods of time as well.
you honestly inspired me to Include the Psalms in my practice, I plan on doing my first 150 psalms over 7 days in a week after im done working with some stuff.
you have been very helpful and i plan on sharing my experience here for everyone to see and maybe someone else can learn from it

some entities
They're like some low astral beings who fulfill weird requests. Abara and such too.

other entities
Abara, people say it loves blasphemous acts, inverted candles. I have not done any of that and it still works.
strange emotional state
This came because of overall instability I had due to very high openness to all energies and my own slightly wild nature. It multiplied everything to the maximum and connected me with the other entities. It gave a constant power trip, a bit different than what I usually got there. It's about like feeling you're the king of the world, high as the desert sky, instead of humility and peace what the church should be about.

ask for my business
With the 7 days reading plan you could also add some specific readings to your favorite saint and see what happens. The novena or akathist, novenas should be read in a single go. Then the icon, candle and maybe incense in front of it. The 7 day method is used by many people. It makes you more connected and spiritually open over time. Benedict? Novenas. Establish a connection to it, honoring the saint. In case of Benedict I'd probably also get the medal and wear it. (y)I'd leave the agreement thing out until you feel a lot more connected to it.

Then at some point I'd do the full readings in front of the icon, stating the dedication, with praises and requests. Then see what happens. With enough of these, you will start getting into more interesting states, but all that will take a while.

Then the very religious Djinn I've met are atypical? Not just Islamic but Jewish as well. Also, 'let them out' of what exactly? Gems or containers?

I was told that any trapped Djinn would be deceased, and what was trapped was their soul and freeing them was a kindness. Was I misinformed?

I really enjoy working with pagan deities, and I do so often. They usually just want an offering or some worship in exchange for helping me or my friends out with magick.

Usually these are just short-term agreements, like "if you help me make this amulet, I will give you an offering" but I have a couple of long-term pacts that are really enriching to my occult practice (and general spiritual life).

It's good to have a powerful spirit that can protect you or help you out with most magickal workings, and challenges and pushes you to grow. It's irreplicable to me and I do suggest that people try to work with these kinds of spirits more often.

That being said... if I am doing a short term working looking for a specific outcome, I might work with a spirit more specifically skilled in that task, like a demon or a local spirit, to try to help me out. When in doubt, though, I can always call upon a spirit I have an established pact with and they are usually able to point me in the right direction (another benefit to having a long-term pact with a deity or similar spirit).

If you want to read more about this, A Spirit Work Primer by Naag Loki Shivanath talks about different spirits and what kinds of pacts they tend to be best suited-for. One of my favorite books, can't recommend it enough.

Interesting, so the instability was more of a mix of things causing it.
Yes i will find some specific reading for St Benedict, while dedicating the Psalms to him. I read somewhere that the Benedict monk Read the psalms a lot so this Saint should be familiar with this practice and accept it pretty quickly.
Yeah the Agreement will have to come after i get enough communication.

Thank you i will definitely check out this book
Interesting things is that a lot of worshipers tend to say things like "you can't work with _____ deity" but so many magicians have working relationships.
No issue with worshiping though it's just that everyone has their own ways.
