If you want to soak in the collective energies of misguided people of the past, then the bible is your gateway to that. As well various beings hostile to humans are quite happy to see these religions infest the species.
Well nowadays for me it's heavily a book of magick and public magickal workings + the story of at least two Jewish miracle workers the last one possibly ending up as an "Ascended Master" (not that I'm invested in that term, except to be brief ...)
I don't want to read any of the stories or believe in any creator deity but there is one thing I want to take away from these stories and thats to care for your enemy.
Thats it. Its the one thing I want to believe because what else is there. Growing up everyone acted like an an enemy to me.
If I stopped caring for them then who would be left. No one. I can't accept that. I don't care who Jesus is. I just know thing. Rome may have muddled whatever was taught but not that.
I just want to live another day. I never read the bible fully just the kids version and not even that fully but thats the one thing I want to take from it.
But its also a point of isolation to me. I don't know what the heck is up with Jesus and I never learned.

Yessss.... I forgave those who have done me wrong. At the end of the day, they are me, and I am them. I can't hate on others because they are me. No point at all.
I read the story of David from the bible a bit and the prophet character of Samuel was a real one. I read the wiki a bit and he tells people to not have kings which yeah.
Then no one listens to him gets from yahweh? I guess? that its an era of kings and just has to roll with it. He just has to role with it being the age of kings even though probably prefers democracy or something or the system they had before?
Then has to go through all the slog to get Saul in anyway then then Saul turns out to be bad. Not a good king and this is all when he's old? Like he already had two adult sons how old is this man.
Then theres David oh look its David. And does he even want to be king? But its his heart or soul or eh? So now has to convince a furious Saul after all of this that he's fine. Thats he is fine and should be king but Saul still doesn't agree. Then also grieves Saul losing favor and its a whole thing.
Then after finally finding peace he gets summoned from his death thing and its not cool. Let the old man sleep. Why are they summoning him again. Let that man sleep. If I were Samuel I would be aggravated too after having to deal with all that when he's like 30-40 to 70 or 80 maybe? Maybe lower thats an estimate.
Everything is just annoying me right now and the story of Samuel is like yeah yeah he's a real one. But to some not a story to me its an I don't know and I don't care to know.
To be quite honest, I truly can't stand the Bible. Ever since, I learned that the God of the Bible wanted people to worship him and only him. Everything else, is blasphemous against him. But then again, the Bible is a myth. I really feel that Jesus is an Egregore.
To me, the Bible is a collection of syncretized stories.
It’s the foundation of over 90% of today’s modern occult. Without it, most modern systems wouldn’t exist. Enochian (which I don’t personally consider occult), Solomonic magick, Thelema, Left-Hand Path currents, hell, even Satanism itself are all downstream of it.
The Bible, both Old and New Testament, is so deeply embedded in modern culture that most people don’t even realize how much of their worldview comes from it. Concepts like good and evil, heaven and hell? Sure, those go back to Zoroaster, but the Israelites took that polarity and went fucking nuclear with it.
Goetic demons? Most are spirits and deities from conquered or rival pantheons, rebranded for control. Demonization is colonization by another name.
Very little in the Bible is truly original. It’s built on older, deeper stories taken, rearranged, and weaponized.
It is subtly embedded in our culture. Yes, it is ao true.
In addition, I see Netany*hu as the world's "dybbuk" and/or "supercomputer".
If you have heard about "game theory" then this guy is the first villain & superhero in its workings.
He is why we all have bad daya and can never get ahead in life while he bathes in gold and fornicates at his leisure whenever with whoever strikes his fancy
I agree the bible tries to be heterosexual and fails everytime. It fails. Its not. The straight people try to pass it off as so straight. Its not. Its really not.
Let me share with you how I think the bible is queer coded. I have been waiting patiently for this moment to explain this on the internet.
First off. Christianity originally oppressed religeon. Oppressed then after years became not. Psalms with David talk about David expierencing oppression. About this one big king diety helps all the oppressed or something.
You know who else is oppressed. Not straight people. First exhibit.
Exhibit B.
Adam. Adam can with assistance create people but is also a man. Gender and Assisgned one at birth up in the air to me atleast.
Exhibit C.
The original sources of texts written in Aramiac, Greek, and Hebrew. Greek people were usually not shy about being gay. I don't know about the other languages but the verses pulled condemning gay people also some people point out may have been mistranslations.
Exhibit D.
Even if they weren't. These verses give off how the most homophobic may be the most gay. If your straight you default probably don't care that much. Just don't think about it.
My headcanon if its not a mistranslation which it probably is someone went through a bad breakup. A bad gay breakup.
Exhibit E.
Non-traditional types of masculinity presented. David is a harp player thats like kind of feminine maybe back then they may not have seen that way though maybe they did. I don't know. Wide range of masculine types that might not have fit with traditional stereotypes of the day. Not conforming
Exhibit F.
Priesthood/being a nun. You live alone not married with people of the same gender. C'mon. If you didn't want to get married the straight way but also wanted a job then there it was. I've read the history on this and yeah there was a queer community there.
Exhibit G.
The origins. Mesopotamia probably accepting of gay people. Gilgamesh and Enkidu the most famous story can be easily interpreted through a queer lens. I think they get married kind of. Also old gods have weird relationships with gender.
Also Bible might have cross cultural origins with Hinduism since both have a trinity of sorts so Indo-Greek-European trade may have affected it somewhat. Christianity trinity difference since all of them equal whereas Hinduism has like one being higher than the rest.
Exhibit H.
Angels being without gender. Thats a thing with people too that are not angels. Its called Agender.
Exhibit I.
Its a multicultural mixed landscape of amny cultures and places and times. Gay people existed throughout all those times. It has to be a little I think.
Thats my reasoning. Thank you for coming to my Bible is not as straight as one might think speech.

Forgot to explain Hinduism. In Hinduism in part of it I think I heard of legend with Agni and Soma who are both male and in a relationship I think. They are the fire diety and the moon deity respectively. So with those respective influences maybe? Idk
Also the other point about Non-traditional types of masculinity doesn't mean your inherently gay but is under the term gender non conforming which is with queer community. Its a whole thing.
Also in Bible may have a tell don't show approach to queer relationships since may have still been persecuted through those times? Maybe? I don't know for sure though. Its been a whole thing about subtext being a thing.

Wait no meant show dont tell approach in its writing but thats Idk for sure.
IMPORTANT: when i say satan i mean christians and by christians i mean satan
________
I forgot to mention how "laying on of hands" is translated as arresting people.
"Test the Spirits" translates to letting those who are lost (unbeliever) to stay lost so they can give satan a scapegoat and a podium to stay in power.
"Kingdom of God is not of words but of power" translates to slander being the main weapon the devil uses to keep his enemies at bay. Satan controls the press & writes history. Therefore, the true power lies in whoever controls the press & the narrative.
Conclusion?
We are no longer in the church age -that's for sure.
