For example the bible is full of mysogyny and homophobia.
I know, but the Bible was written by men, not deities or angels or etc.
Men, seeking to use supernatural excuses as to why they "should lord over their peers" and why "others should suffer/be subservient to them".
I, personally, don't like the concept of religion in general(the structure of religion with hierarchies of people, buildings and such), and do have issues with the Abrahamic ones, but at the end of the day their rules and holy books were written by men.Greedy, petty, power-hungry men, using the fear of the unknown to dominate others by talking of the reward of a paradise or the punishment of eternal damnation.
It's the same with politics. In itself it should be just a tool to organize great numbers of people through laws, rules and communication.A good thing.
But the ones giving voice to it end up corrupted by the power given to them.
At the end of the day the issue is with the people.
I thought people knew to not mess with those, specially if one knows not what they're doing?
The best form of magic is using the mundane & turning it into magic: it’s extremely potent
Cardistry and calisthenics/street workout comes to mind.
Both are just skills that one can develop through training, but to those that do not train or do not know, it seems like something "surreal".
Even illusionism is the same.People know that there is a lot of sleight of hand, gadgets and angles, and yet they go wide eyed whenever "magic" happens in front of them.
There is even a subreddit about something like that on Reddit.I think it is r/blackmagicfuckery(it isn't NSFW), there are many videos there of people seemingly doing amazing things, but all of them are of either due to acquired skills or plain science(mostly chemistry).
