Where do you perform your evocations?

The electrum bowl story made me laugh a bit, I had something kinda similar once with a metal tool during a charging phase.
It didn’t blow up or anything, but the timing was just… too perfect …

Do you think it’s more the local season/air charge over there, or the actual structure of the ritual itself?
Sometimes it feels like both things kinda amplify each other.

To me it is more about location within that 'seasonal / air charge ' meaning the location can attract the charge .

Depending on the 'ritual current ' amplification or chaos !

[ When I first got this place , it was already known to be a 'power center' . The reason I got it was no one could handle it - one woman , considering purchase , spent the night here , Said she would never do that again and would not say why . Excited , and having a caravan as a bedroom and other buildings , I set the empty cabin up as a ritual space . Later that day I went out and came back to the whole thing smashed up ! The back door blown in and smashed , glass everywhere and the room and all my stuff looked like a willy-willy* had been through it ! .

After a lot of cleaning up and further learning and some 'adjustments' I tried again . That never happened again ( actually seems protected from such 'weather' events now .]

* small (or not) localized whirl-wind ; 'dust devil' .... one was big enough to twist my friend's house 45 deg and off its foundations .

There is indeed nothing special needed. I never have build temples, and there was contact. With altar there was not more contact/connection than without. Place and (lack of) materials should not be an hindrance, discussed that in another thread (about lazy magic) as well. .... well, tried different places also: bedroom, livingroom, crossroads, in a little cave, in a park sitting behind the bushes, a church and even a private coupé in a train.

I guess I'm boring. I wait till late at night and do mine in the back yard. Quite, close, and not far to set up my altar.

Okay, I'll stop with dirty jokes.

Seriously, I have every personal object dedicated or connected to them in my bedroom, so there are plenty of things, but it's not necessary to have a temple or tie the location to anywhere specifically. I just prefer my bedroom because it is quiet, peaceful, no one really dare to enter and undisturbed.

I remember when my mother said, that she had an out of body experience while asleep, where she was walking around the house. She seen everything, even how my brother was preparing himself in front of the mirror for a party. She even described correctly what clothes he wore, how he set his hair, and so on, but when she looked towards my room, there was darkness. She couldn't see nothing in it, as if she was denied to look, it freaked her out; she said, she felt like an unwanted visitor the 'world' inside my room rejected.

So, yes. I prefer my bedroom. It's safe, it's ours only.

The time of day depends on multiple factors, but usually I try to keep in mind whether the deity or demon I'm contacting is a day or night entity.
